200NL Live Facing Lead
Hero raise QdQs to $10
BB calls and has around $64
Flop 8d2d8x
Villain leads $10
Hero calls
Turn 5d
Villain bets $10
Hero calls $10
Riv 4o
So, im curious if anyone would be flop raising here or raising turn vs the small sizing? Online, I think people would very rarely lead an 8x type hand, but in live it is definitely a more frequent option taken, and in a 1-2 settting, with bet sizes often being very poor, im not entirely sold on raising the turn all the time because he can be sizing down on the flush card/sizing to get more calls.
I suppose if we break down villains flop leading range, it is probably some FD's, some 8x, some pocket pairs, some A2/K2, Q2 type of hands, and then some airish types like KJo. Villain prob isnt going to keep bluffing his air if we call, so maybe just flop raising is the best option, and getting it in if it comes to it because of stack sizes.
