Just Barrel?

BN: $113.04
SB: $134.13 (Hero)
BB: $104.16
UTG: $140.42
HJ: $257.49
CO: $81.57
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt K Q
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2
Flop ($6.50) T A 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3, Hero calls $3
Turn ($12.50) T A 3 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BB bets $6, Hero folds
Final Pot
BB wins $11.46

I am trying to figure out how KQ fits into my range in a spot like this. I obviously have a lot of equity but aggressive and passive lines both feel uncomfortable.

Option 1: Barreling

advantages: Nut outs, some possibility of blocking aq, I don't block his spades when spades brick.

Disadvantages: When I start barreling with this hand I tend to freeze up later in the hand. I don't like following through on spades without a spade. When I pair I am kind of in no mans land against an often polarized range. When spades brick I often have some good showdown value and don't love following through.

Option 2: check calling.

advantages: I have good equity against a wide range, easier to play when I pair.

disadvantages: can be easily moved off equity with defined hand oop.
