Live $2/5- Straddle Pot - Value on the river?
8-handed for the moment. Straddle pot.
2 limpers for $10, I'm in SB with 8h8s and 575 stack. I flat. BB folds. Straddler (500 stack) makes it $30 and both limpers call (4-500 stacks). I call also.
Flop 4h2h2d
I check. 2 checks behind to Villain who bets $55. He's a mid aged asian guy with sunglasses, regular in this room (i've played $1-2 with him a handful of times), no specific reads but he did just get stacked a few hands before and re bought. His hand looks like 55-1010 plus flush draws and combo draws imo. I call.
Turn 4d.
I check after a pause and he checks kinda quickly.
River Qs
Hero?
I decided to bet $100 and he calls. I feel I can credibly rep a boat here while he doesn't have as many boats in his range. I may get him to fold a better hand like 99-1010, I'm getting value from A high hero calls, and 55-77 as well. At the time I was more thinking that I was bluffing and when he called I said "you're probably good". Was surprised when he mucked.
Thoughts? I think flop and turn are pretty standard. Preflop I will raise sometimes after the limpers to try and take it down. Decided to flat here though since these players arent very good and I have a few ways of winning despite being OOP.
Thanks
