Ideas on how to play best a Turn spot

Here is the situation:

- we open and get called from a player IP (let's say for simplicity we are HU on the F)

- we c-bet the NFD and get called

- we hit the NF on T

-So, what factors have the most weight in deciding how to play on the T: when do we bet again, c/c, c/r...

I know the easy answers are: we need to balance, it depends on villain, etc, etc. But it seems a spot where playing it "best" will have a big difference, so what is the correct thought process that will help us make the best decision?

Thanks!
