Nick Steiner in case you are able to answer this question:
I´ve read on pokerfuse that RIO Poker will offer ecoPayz as deposit option and im curious if you guys will offer a affiliate or bonus programm with them ?
I searched the web and found that there are are several affiliation sites where you get instant Gold VIP status + Cashback + free credit card when you sign up for ecoPayz through them.
Since I don´t have an ecoPayz account yet, I would rather wait till RIO Poker launch and sign up through you guys in case you will offer a similar bonus.

Excited to see the release is getting closer.
It looks like the games will be in €uro only.
Can we still deposit in USD and if so, will there be a currency exchange fee ?

Post | Rick Rath posted in Chatter: 888 Poker Question

hey guys,

got a question for those of you who play on 888.
i just created an account which appers to be in US$, also the deposit options are in US$
which is good, because my Neteller account is in US$ as well.
yet, 888 wants to convert my deposit into Euro. is this some sort of a conversion fee rip off ?
is there an option to chage that, that it wont convert my US$ deposit into Euro?

amazing job Robin! really enjoyed reading your daily updates, and much respect for your analytical self reflection. not many people are capable of doing it that objectively. looking forward to your next challenge...

Sept. 24, 2017 | 9:46 p.m.

Robin don´t be too hard on youself. you played 45K hands in 6 days and yet, you´re cruching it. its impossible to not make any mistakes, playing that type of volume.
keep up the good work!

agree i should have 4b pre, which i usually do for the most part.
probably just x/c or x/f turn would have been the best option.
hard to say what his minimum value bet on the turn might be, you see all kinds of silly plays on the micros, even from regulars.
for that sizing maybe QJs, JJ, then 8h9h, 8h7h as semi bluff, that will probably call my jam anyway. i will fold out JJ and AK if he plays it like that and Th9h, Jh9h, JhTh, all Ahxh, 6h5h, 6h7h, wont get the correct price to call my jam against my usual shoving range which will be something like 88,AQs,AhJh,AhTh,Ah5h,Ah3h,JhTh,Th9h,9h8h,AQo. then again, when i think about it... i probably call with allot of those hands for the smallish sizing getting great odds and wont x/jam.

yep, thanks samu. makes sence

Blinds: $0.08/$0.16 (6 Players) BN: $17.23
SB: $33.76
BB: $20.19
UTG: $16.17
MP: $18.54
CO: $19.81 (Hero)
no reads, villain is recreational player
Preflop ($0.24) Hero is CO with Q Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.40, Hero raises to $1.28, 2 folds, BB calls $1.12, MP calls $0.88
Flop ($3.92) 3 7 T
BB bets $2.08, MP folds, Hero calls $2.08
is raising the flop a better option then flatting ?
Turn ($8.08) 3 7 T T
BB checks, Hero checks
also bet/folding probably better than checking back ?
River ($8.08) 3 7 T T 9
BB bets $5.92, Hero calls $5.92
do we see enough bluffs to call the river ? i believe most recreationals wont turn 98s into a bluff which will reduce some of his bluffs and he probably wont bet JJ for that sizing either.

Sept. 23, 2017 | 4:27 p.m.

the hand i expected the least.. a set of Q´s :D

Sept. 23, 2017 | 1:58 p.m.

completely agree with your analysis.

Sept. 23, 2017 | 10:52 a.m.

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) BN: $10.00
SB: $9.20
BB: $10.00
UTG: $6.15
MP: $12.18
CO: $11.52 (Hero)
villain is a regular, 25 15 8, no specific reads
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is CO with A K
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.25, BN raises to $0.90, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.65
preflop i mix it up in this spot between 4b and calling
Flop ($1.95) 8 4 Q
Hero checks, BN bets $0.70, Hero calls $0.70
flop x/c is standart i guess against this sizing ?
Turn ($3.35) 8 4 Q 2
Hero checks, BN bets $1.10, Hero raises to $9.92 and is all in, BN
wasnt sure what to do on the turn.. at this point i assigned his range to be pretty draw heavy and decided to x jam because of his weak sizing and my good blockers to AQ, KQ, AA, KK, i also believed he would bet bigger w QQ. is my assumption that villain is pretty weak / drawheavy fine and therfore my jam ok or is it rather speewy ?

Sept. 22, 2017 | 11:39 a.m.

indeed, impressive work ethic! keep it up!
im curious, what type of bankroll management are you going to approach ?

Sept. 19, 2017 | 11:19 p.m.

i like your play on all streets and especially going against gto and leading the river.
in general people at this stake check back the river with many hands that would call a bet.
exploitatively i would go smaller, targeting mainly a hero call from JJ / QQ.

Sept. 19, 2017 | 10:53 p.m.

8% 3b vs mp1 seems a little bit wild imo. im not playing fullring anymore but arent typical opening ranges something like 13-16% in that postition ?

Sept. 19, 2017 | 10:20 p.m.

actually i believe in this particular spot its pretty close either way. but i rather have some sort of read how aggressively villain is stabbing the turn. if i dont have that information, i rather bet myself and try to build the pot. i like your x/r approach when it comes to single raised pots and for blind vs button 3b pot scenarios, because population is definitively overstabbing in these spots.

Sept. 19, 2017 | 10:12 p.m.

i believe you missread the texture, AK is the nuts on the river ;)
given we are 250bb deep, he could have the suited broadways in his calling range.
also im not sure he would 5b KK, AA probably will 5b sometimes but also flat sometimes.

Sept. 19, 2017 | 4:02 p.m.

Blinds: $0.08/$0.16 (6 Players) BN: $40.02
SB: $24.96
BB: $23.48
UTG: $40.10
MP: $21.83
CO: $50.95 (Hero)
Villain is a regular: 22/18 with a 6% 3b over 700 hands. definitively on the more aggressive side postflop
Preflop ($0.24) Hero is CO with A A
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.48, BN raises to $1.68, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5.28, BN calls $3.60
i made the 4b rather large because of stack depth
Flop ($10.80) 4 J Q
Hero checks, BN bets $3.61, Hero calls $3.61
Turn ($18.02) 4 J Q T
Hero checks, BN checks
River ($18.02) 4 J Q T 6
Hero checks, BN bets $12.00, Hero
i feel i played this hand rather weak. flop x/c is okish i guess, on the turn i believe he would bet AK but ch back, AA, KK, JTs, QJs, QTs, and JJ, QQ some of the time. on the river is the question if he is value betting KK for this 75% sizing ? or only AA, 2 pair and sets ? you guys see any bluffs on the river ?

Sept. 19, 2017 | 3:10 p.m.

i like you analysis paid, but i believe you got the preflop action wrong.
i made it 6x on the button vs 2 limpers. the utg limper just called and mp folded.
i only added to the player description that he had limp raised 3/6 so far to paint a better picture what type of player this guy is.
in that case we come up with a complete different range for villain. which will include a ton of suited trash i would assume.
so on the turn i believe we face allot of flushes, 2 pair, sets and combo draws like gut shot + flush draw, naked openender, openeder + flush draw etc.
agree, i would have called with Kc.

Sept. 19, 2017 | 10:45 a.m.

hm its more like 35% against this range and if we tweak the range a little bit left or right it becomes pretty close. anyway, thanks for your input

Sept. 18, 2017 | 10:36 p.m.

i would barrel myself on the turn, i would also bet bigger on the flop. there is no need to get fancy or play "balanced" at these stakes. if you have a big hand, try to get max value. as played, i would definitively x/r the turn and / or even donk the river.

Sept. 18, 2017 | 9:27 p.m.

hm yea, thought about raising the flop. might have been better then calling

Sept. 18, 2017 | 9:14 p.m.

hmm really not sure, i believe turn is really close and i more or less have to make the decision on the turn if im willing to play for stacks.
i think a range for this type of player is probably something like: 99,55,Ac9c,Ac8c,Ac7c,Ac6c,Ac4c,Ac2c,KcQc,KcJc,Kc9c,Kc8c,Kc7c,Kc6c,Kc4c,Kh4h,Kc2c,QTs+,Qc8c,Qc7c,Qc6c,Qc4c,Jc9c,J8s,T9s,9c8c,9c7c,9c6c,8c7c,8c5c,7c6c,7c4c,AcJd,AcJh,AcJs,AcTd,AcTh,AcTs,KcQd,KcQh,KcQs,KdQc,KhQc,KsQc,KcJd,KcJh,KcJs,KcTd,KcTh,KcTs,QcJd,QcJh,QcJs,QdJc,QhJc,QsJc,T9o.
just an ugly spot... i took the lower variance approach and folded

SB: $16.98

CO: $23.65
villain was a more or less unknown recreational player
with 50/28 3b 4/30 he also limp raised 3/6 so far on a small 70 hand sample
Preflop ($0.24) Hero is BN with K K
UTG calls $0.16, MP calls $0.16, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.96, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.80, MP folds

again, thanks for your extensive response. appreciated

Sept. 17, 2017 | 9:13 p.m.

agree, this was the "easier" call of the 3 hands i´ve posted. villain had 9h8h. but he will probably show up the same way with all the Khxh, Ahxh, + other stuff you mentioned

Sept. 17, 2017 | 9:12 p.m.

thanks for taking your time for this extensive response.

ugly spot with that spr. whats the best play here? x/f, b/c, b 1/3 1/4 and fold to jam?

i usually 3b this spot, but villain appeared to be super nitty over 115 hands so i decided to flat. also the bb is kinda squeeze happy, so could backraise or fold if the nit would 4b
