At 4.52 you fold 55 to a sb 3bet, at what price would you consider calling in this spot? It seemed like you were very close to calling. Question applies to 22 -> 66 I guess

I apologize as I assume this Q has been asked many times, but could you explain your labels? It makes it easier to follow your thinking as you play. Cheers

Thanks for the response Mikey. I guess they part that jumped out of your post was the videos were screened in the last year and deemed valuable. I understand completely that not 100% of every video can be relevant as things evolve, but if the core principles of the videos are sound then that is pretty much my Q answered.

Thanks

Post | Walnuts87 posted in Chatter: Learning Paths - Relevance

Just a quick, basic question. I am working my way through the learning path videos and notice that many are 5 years+ old. For instance I just watched "how to play v small 3bets". Are the theories in this still relevant today? Should I just stick to the videos created in the last 12 months?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Thanks for the detailed response. I ended up, after a long tank, mucking. I added in KQ to his value range and felt the amount of value he had was just a little too much. Looking back on it, I get your point completely, we had a very nice bluff catcher. I guess it was just a close spot (imo) that could have gone either way. Is a fold terrible or just not optimal?

Hi all

Just would like some opinions on this spot. It's 6-max 200NL ZOOM, my stack is 300bb, villians stack is 100bb

I open A4ss to $5.43 from utg +1, Villian in HJ 3 bets to $16

He is a 22/18 player with 12.5 3bet

Flop is QsKKs

He bets 1/3 pot,I call

Turn is Ad. It goes check check

River is 6s.

I check, he bets 150% pot. Whats the best action?

Thats sounds fine. Thanks for your advice. I think i will go elite. I intend to be active on the foruns too so look forward to getring the best out of the site.

Thanks again

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess I'm a little wary of the elite package as I don't want to be overwhelmed by information that is too advanced for me at the stage I am at. I'm very realistic about my skill level at present. I guess I could give Elite a month or two trial and see if it's worth it, as you said it's only one buy in per month.

Just one more question, are the training videos structured in any way? I think i'd respond to a linear model better eg watch video A takes notes move to video B, but again it's not a massive issue.

Cheers

Hi All

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but i'm very interested in signing up for training but I'm wondering if this is the right site for me...any advice greatly appreciated.

At the moment I'm a break even 100/200 NL player, so I'm really looking to get that extra edge and start to turn decent profit. I play exclusively 6-max zoom, so that might be relevant.

At the moment the " essential" package looks like it will suit me best, is this solely aimed at cash? does the fact I play Zoom negate some of the content?

As I said any help or advice greatly appreciated

Cheers
