Jonna, sorry if its been asked but can you explain you hud numbers?

Jan. 31, 2014 | 9:40 p.m.

As played I find it amazing that you folded. In fact I find it amazing that you didn't lead the river.  You beat so much here and not betting is throwing away value imo.  shove and bank the monies.  If he shows up with QJ so be it - this is why they invented the word cooler

What do we think about this hand? Villain is 20/20 over small sample. I'm happy with flatting pre the big question is the flop and then as played the turn. I flat the flop with the aim of c/r a safe turn. The turn is obviously the worst card I could imagine so I think its a fold when he continues. Thoughts appreciated as always.

Villain is 30/20 with a 3 bet of 15 over a smallish sample - like 100 hands.
What you guys think about a flop jam here?

If you are a winning player do you normally turn a profit from the blinds?

If not what type of loss rate should we be aiming for over a large sample?

Thanks as always

So what am I doing here? I assume the flop is good - or is a check raise a better option? What do we do on the turn? If we bet and we are raised I assume its a fold? If we get called and the river blanks again (for us I mean what do we do? just general ideas on how to play this post flop through all streets would be great. A similar but slightly different hand to follow.

Zen and Scarab, if you don't mind me asking what level do you guys play? You make a lot of good posts on here so was interested to know a little more background about your guys game if you don;t mind?

Thanks

Feb. 27, 2013 | 8:32 a.m.

is there any merit in checking back the nuts here? agasint this guy, or anyone?

Feb. 26, 2013 | 6:45 p.m.

Is checking back the flop here worse than betting here particularly given there is no need to play balanced agasint someone playing 77/37?

^ this how do we pot hands from HM2?

Feb. 26, 2013 | 8:20 a.m.

Nice vid Phil, I like the format and would like another one of you reviewing Sam's play next month if thats an option. Also wouldn't mind one of you reviewing your own play or playing a live session if that was done at these kind of stakes. Cheers
