Beez Neez

Context: Early on day 2. In 2 orbits of play, hero has 3b twice, with one taking it down pre vs this hand's villain (I 3b A9o vs bu open and sb flat, both folded).

Hero (button): 33k
Villain (HJ): 27k
Level 500/1k/100

Preflop: Folds to HJ, raises to 2300. CO folds. Hero flats button with KdTc. SB, BB folds.

Flop: Qs Th 7h. HJ checks. Hero bets 3500. HJ calls.

Turn: Kc. HJ checks, hero bets 6800, HJ jams for 22k, hero calls.

Two questions:
1) Any thoughts about the relative merits to betting vs checking this flop? I think betting is good because we have a range advantage after HJ checks flop, as he should no longer have many of his good Qx (AQ, KQ), and fewer sets since its such a draw heavy board. QJ possibly check calls and is ahead of us, but QT is blocked and Q9 and lower should mostly be folded pre. Betting denies equity to draws to flushes/straights/overs and we aren't v worried about getting check raised in this spot. Checking might also be good to pot control, protect our check back range, and induce some bluffs on later streets.

2) Is bet/calling standard here? I give villain's value range all AJ, J9s, 77 and QQ with low frequency. And in the bluff range, all AhXh, JT, T9s, T8s (but less since we block these Tx combos), 89s. Hands like AQ, KQ and KhJh I feel would mostly have bet the flop. And AK and QJ would probably c/c turn rather than trying to gii. Also, we don't have a heart or jack in our hand so don't block and FD/SD bluffs. Meanwhile, we block the KQ/TT part of his value range. So seems to me like villain has enough bluffs in his range that I can comfortably stack off here, and this is partly a function of his flop check capping his range, but open to thoughts.
