typical spot 3b Pot OOP turn flushing

Blinds: $1.00/$2.00 (6 Players) BN: $1380.73
SB: $281.07 (Hero)
BB: $200.00
UTG: $203.00
MP: $829.66
CO: $202.00
Preflop ($3.00) Hero is SB with Q A
3 folds, BN raises to $5.00, Hero raises to $20.00, BB folds, BN calls $15.00
Flop ($42.00) Q T 6
Hero bets $20.75, BN calls $20.75
Turn ($83.50) Q T 6 2
Hero checks, BN checks
River ($83.50) Q T 6 2 A
Hero checks, BN bets $80.00, Hero calls $80.00

So villain is a regular
50% BU RFI
fold to 3b on BU 25% but only ~500 hands so far - stats indicate very standardish taggy regular

So pre is easy

Flop I am not sure, I think vs unknown tendencies and quite a bit going on I like a half pot bet

I think there are arguments for check (hits his range well) adn also for betting smaller.

Do you strongly favor one of the options or do you agree that we should play a mixed strategy?

OTT I feel I come into a weak spot of mine. I have a really hard time figuring out these spots oop in 3b pots where the flush comes.

We are obviously not folding but I don't see myself happily bet/calling either.
I think we still have kind of a value/protection bet though vs a big part of his range.. at the same time I am not unhappy with a check call.

Do we ever check a made flush here?

Does your strategy differ if we had the A of diamaonds instead of the Q?

Do we ever check call twice unimproved?

This spot makes my head explode...

OTR I just don't really know.

For some reason I liked check call in game - in hindsight I favor a largish bet.

What do you think?
Can anyone enlighten me as to how PIO plays these spots OOP or what a good overall approach can be here?

Kind regards
