Definitely seems like a check to me.

You could bluff hands like J8s if you think your range is too strong to bet KJ for value. I mean, on that runout he should just shove value himself and almost never slowplay/induce.

So KJ is a valuebet in my opinion. And in theory also ofcourse since he has so many 1 pairs etc and he has to defend x% of the time to make us indifferent to bluffing. If you expect people to x/f Ax en hands like KQ in this spot you should just bluffjam any Jx.

Hello Peter,

Firstly I want to say I really enjoyed your vid. I always wish coaches are talking about there ranges insted of their exact hand. The reasoning was really clear etc. Ty

My question: At a certain moment you had KJs in the BB facing an openraise from the CO. You said you were going to 3Bet 100% with KJs in this spot and I just don't see the logic after this thought. It surprises me that nobody asked something about that statement because it seems such a clear call. It kind of sucks to face a 4Bet in the first place. He also is going to call with a decent amount of hands which dominate us. We close the action, we can't get squeezed and calling is certainly way better than folding. When you 3bet this linear you will never have any good top pair on K53r etc because you're 3betting KJ+ most likely, this also doesn't seem that attractive. Anyways, can you please eleborate on this matter?

Thanks a lot!

Hey Raphael,

Thanks for the interesting vids. I have two questions for you:

1. you mentioned that you call 4bets wider than most regs. Could you elaborate a little on this. Do you call wider because you think it's theoretically correct or is it an expoitive decision.

2. At 30:18, you bet vs a missed cbet with 2nd pair+FD. I would personally check that back and bet all my flush draws without SD and weaker pairs without a FD. How does your checkback range look like here (vs a regular). I know the hand was vs a recreational player but I'm more interested in what you would do vs a regular.

Grtz,

DeLau
