A mystery to me how you manage to get bigger cards on the right table while having the same table size.

June 25, 2016 | 4:46 p.m.

Why did u use flopzilla for that river call instead of simple postflop like in one of your last videos? Do you think putting it manually in flopzilla trains ur intuition in game better?

Thnx

Bluffcalling, nice term!

Why do you think Russian players do this so much? Is there a certain way they study/talk hands which teaches them to call more? It always surprises me how the Russians like to call top of range a lot more compared to other countries. I am trying to call more myself on flops and turns so any advice here would be appreciated.

I notice you 4bet almost 3x sizingwise btn-sb. What is the reasoning behind this? I assume you want villain not to be able to call much. Why do you 4bet a hand like K8s in that case (at 6:14 in the video) and don't you 4bet Ax blockers instead?

Thanks. Clear explanation with simple postflop. Would like more of that in the future

15:30 table 2 you bet small ''since he hits it well''. I always thought we should apply opposite logic, like bet small with a range advantage if we want to bet a high frequency. The fact that it hits his range well, doesn't this mean you want to polarize more and therefore apply bigger betsizing?

Tnx

41:22 bottom left on the river. ''we block some flushes which is nice but we have some better blockers to bluff so I give up this one''. What are better hands to bluff and why?

Nice video. thnx

What is the point in calculating how much equity we can realize being OOP? Talking about when you use the calculator and compare it to EV.

Thanks, like how you explain your moves.

Thanks Nick

Are T9 and T8 bets because they have the gutshot and therefore have more equity vs his callingrange or because they need more protection vs overcards?

June 6, 2016 | 8:50 p.m.

You simply have wrong understanding of ranges. With a range advantage sure, but otherwise: no no. You are losing too many pots that you should win, so maybe look at x/c frequencies OOP, or consider x/r more as the pfr etc. Filtering for high c-bet in sessions or high wwsf obviously has the bias that you likely run better during those sessions.

May 24, 2016 | 2:08 p.m.

I'll follow Steve Paul's suggestion and look for air c-bets on my DB to see how that is going. I feel like I don't c-bet enough air, specially OOP, which makes my c-bet frequency drop a lot.

Why is a low c-bet frequency a problem? Watch some Tyler Forrester, maybe play with some GTO software and realize that you often should have a low frequency in those spots.

Gets discussed in every video. Watch Tyler Forrester videos for example. Range vs range ftw.

What 9x does he have? TT I agree, but don't we want to protect our x/c range also? If you x/r this hand, villain can start betting very aggro with his bluffs OTR right? Or was villain a fun player? Also I think you assign yourself very little equity if he is a fun player. Vs many hands like KQ you are ahead don't you think?

What was the hand you posted 2 days ago? I can't view it.

Succes met alles, ziet er goed uit ook met coaching etc :)

No I think it was a bit a waste of time also. You crush already very hard if you beat online obviously, and it is pretty obvious just to limp a bit more etc in multiway yadayada.

May 18, 2016 | 11:38 a.m.

46:00, if u think he has 9x so often, why don't you jam?

Feb. 8, 2016 | 11:15 a.m.

13:50 table 2. You mention you want to bluff a lot and then u say ''so I want to use small sizing''. Theory indicates many bluffs means betting big to make him indifferent with bluffcatchers. Can you explain a bit more why you reason as an exploit that u want to bet small here even though u have many bluffs? Do you think his callingrange is inelastic and you don't want to risk too much with bluffs? Tnx

Feb. 7, 2016 | 11:36 a.m.

9:00 table 1 u mention he has more 89s but I don't get why since you mention you have more sets. Like do you think 66 is a higher ev call compared to 89s? I was always under the impression those suited connectors are better candidates to call since they connect with boards more often.

Feb. 6, 2016 | 1:22 p.m.

Where did u read this theory I never heard about it.

Comment | Insilicio commented on What Would You Do?

No need to make more videos like this in my opinion. Imo people should already pause all the time during a video and think about their own move, then replay the video etc.

Feb. 6, 2016 | 1:02 p.m.

0:54 bottom left. I realize we don't have a great hand but isn't this a great spot to cbet for a small sizing at a very high frequency given our range advantage or do you prefer a more polar strategy since hands like AA benefit a lot from putting a lot of money in the middle now?

U mention somewhere that people x/f too often as the pfr and that we should exploit this by stabbing wider as bluffs and thin value/protection. I understand the bluff part, but not the other one. Lets say the flop is QJ6 and we have A6 we want to check back I assume. Aren't you worried about becoming too capped once checking back? I understand checking ranges are too weak from PFR but for example if I see a check back I often bomb turn and get many folds.

Nice ending

He is using starshelper which converts money into big blinds. As u see from the name of the table it is a higher limit

Are u still playing poker? Plans to make vids again?
