Haha, sorry Phil! I LOVE the video, and you really are an amazing human being, but this sentence made me laugh a little after seing Viktor Blom win around 900K from you at HU PLO! haha

You're great, Phil! Keep up the good work, and I wish you GOOD LUCK at the tables from here n out! :D

He has to speak about a rule of some sort, that is very debatable. He asked me for help, and I came up with this, as I play poker myself.

Neither of us are from the USA, but he is currently studying there :)

Hi guys!
I have a friend at college who is about to do a presentation about this subject for his speeching class. As many of you experienced this, I would like to know everything there is to know! Feelings, why it's wrong etc.

Would help alot when it comes from the pros that with the experience and memories about this subject! :)
Feel free to write whatever you want to! :)

Thanks alot :)

Great video as always, Nick! :)
I still like how you present it! As always is adapting to different players the key to win a tournament, and I think by presenting a tournament this way, we all get a feeling for that. And with your voice to cover your thinking, it makes it a good video to watch :)

This one particular isnt very hard for me to understand, so no questions :O I guess that means you do a good job :))

Keep it up! :D

It's a suckout when the other dude gets the girl, obviously ... Because, she .. suck him instead of us! :O :O And if you hit the backdoor, it's heaven, right?

PLease give me a medal for pointing out the obvious? :3

Post | SirBEAAST posted in Chatter: Girls are like poker?!

Hi guys! Just had a cool conversation with a friend of mine! I thought it was too cool to keep to ourselves, so here it comes! :)

Him:

Girls are like poker man, sometimes you need to give them credit when they have a good hand !

Me:

Bro .. Girls always start with ACES! You need to have a bluffingrange to get them! (or get lucky)And you need to make them believe that you have a better hand than that. Because they wont settle with someone with KK preflop, because they have a better hand! Preflop, they never go all in, right? - and if they do, you are an underdog to 20%, maximumSo you need to trick them into thinking you have a better hand than most guys by the end of the river, and make them fold! That's how to get girls!!

This might be very fun! Any thoughts? :) :)

Thanks man! I'm not that familiar with posting here, so mistakes were made at that area. Glad to know you fixed it for me! :)

This is exactly what I needed to hear. The psychology behind a bad run is just driving you to bad thoughts. You start to believe that everyone just knows exactly how your day has gone, and that everyone starts to push you around. Fold in those spots are hard after a day with this.

Today I can see that the play is good though, and after your feedback Im happy with my losing session yesterday :) Stay strong!

Thanks for the feedback, BigFiszh! :)

I dont have any reads at all when it comes to this guy, and that's the reason why I didnt mention any. No dynamics either :)

Regarding the turn ck raise, I was a little curious myself. I dont expect an unknown to fold Ax to this turn action since I can have flushdraws with this line. When I lead this turn with a flushdraw, I have to overbet the river to make him fold Ax on a brick. This might cost me more than CkR turn -> bet river when called, allthough I expect him to fold Ax to this line as well.

When it comes to check call I think I lose value against Ax and possibly even >9Tss since those hands most likely will fold to river checkraise/overbet?

Im not sure about everything here though, I havent done any maths on this. I just hated to fold on the river there after a somewhat hard session, and therefore Im asking for some help :)

Does an unknown in zoom500 do this with XcXc hands? Or does he always have 666TT/AAATT/AATTT?

@nma, thank you for answering :)

Hi guys!
This hand just hit me in a zoom500 game. I was just curious about your opinions here? Am I playing this right? I was thinking at the time that this guy never has a bluffingrange here .. I might be wrong though.

I also want to add that this is better than only seing hands! Tournaments are so much more than just hand analyzis, and I think you present it in a good way. Seing the 4bet fold from villain at SB around 25:00 is also a very good thing! People actually pick up upon others dynamics, and you dont see that from any other form of reviewing a tournament! :) Good Nick, good.

I'm sorry for my poor English .. I'm not in my Enlglish-speaking zone .. lol

Hi Nick!
Very good video! I like how you mention the dynamics vs some player that people MIGHT think of as well as peoples frequency in bluff spots. And since we see every hand, I find it easy to understand some of your deciscions, like the KQ vs acoimbra. I like to see every hand. Best way in my opinion for a tourney review!

Thank you! :) Hope to see more of this kind of tournament anlyze of some more tournaments in the future. Again, good video :)

I was so sure :( Guess I lost some value there with the line I took with my guessing range .. Damnit

@Chael Sonnen
Yeah, she is a NL player. When I think about it, I havent really seen her play PLO either .. But that doesnt mean she doesnt play PLO! Almost every good NL reg are into PLO to some extent, right?

The picture to GT is just too simular to hers! Gotta love a good mystery :3

Get ready, Im about to solve this Mystery!
I believe that GameTheory is Tatiana "Mysters_Y" Barausova! Create a mystery around this profile when your name is Mysters_Y online?! You clearly have a thing for mysteries.

And also, the picture busted you! I never forget the face of a beautiful woman when I see one :)) :3

Ps; Im kinda mysterious .. if you have a thing for that

Hi man!
You are from Norway, right?

I was just curious about how you cashout/deposit? Personally I use entropay .. Or at least I did. But now my BR is too high to use that since it costs me alot of money! Therefore Im asking; how is the best way to cash out or deposit in our country? Do you live here still, or did it cost you too much money?

Any advices would be very helpful :)
Thank you for a good video :)

@Nick Rampone
This was a great answer! Personally I use this strategy myself in the early stages of the sunday million. I also find myself doing the same mistake that you said something about, exactly that I continue this very fun and enjoyable strategy, when the blinds get bigger, simply because this is the poker I really really enjoy to play! Discipline is hard!

Also something that I find worth mentioning is that I find myself do this when my stack increases while the villains stack decreases. Where I sit with 200+bbs, and they slowly get to under 100bbs. Hard to adjust away from such a fun way of playing! Glad I figured this discipline leak out, and thought Id share it :)

Anyways; the answer was great! I really like your content :)

Will we see a review of the super tuesday as well? :)

Jan. 26, 2014 | 1:16 a.m.

Good video and very good explanations! :) I liked this.
Regarding your question about how to show the hand history, I like the way you do it here. Gives us a feeling of gameflow and dynamics that you just dont get by only seeing the highlighted hands. Continue with showing all the hands please. And thank you very much for this content :)

Jan. 10, 2014 | 1:05 p.m.

Yeah, Im familiar with those. It's just a very uncommon situation for me. Being only 3 - 7 BBs deep with many more players at the same stack. I always push/call other shorties since they have a narrower range than the bigger stacks.

Some answers regarding play that short close to ITM would be very nice :)

Thanks for answer anyway :)

Post | SirBEAAST posted in MTT: Hot 33 FT. 3-7BBs play?

Hi guys, new memeber stepping in! I love the site, and all the great features on it! So overall happy with Elite :)

Now to business.
I went deep in the hot 33 at stars and this one guy had 4x more than the rest of the table, so the dynamic got wierd. Once the blinds increased we all got shorter until we were around that 3 - 7BB spot.

I felt very uncomfortable with that! It ended with me finishing 5th, when I reshoved 5BBs from the D, vs a 1,2BB shove with A5o. The SB overshoved and had the ladies.

Overall, Im asking for tips on how to play with such small stacks all around the table, at a finaltable, with one massive stack still in play? Im not very experienced with getting that short. (bigstack wasnt overly aggro either. VPIP at 27% so I guess that's decent for a bigstack)

Thanks to you all! :) And happy new year! :D
