Post | Skalmann posted in Chatter: SB steal autoprofit frequency
Hey guys working on blind play and drawing a complete blank regarding how to calculate how often I need to succed in stealing the BB to autoprofit with any two.

Let consider for example NL50. So when it gets to me in the SB the pot is 0,75 (SB +BB). Lets say I raise to a total amount of 1,5. Do I risk the full 1,5 or only 1,25 since the SB is already posted? So is the equation that I risk 1,25 to win 0,75 and thus 1,25/2 so I need to succed 0,625 (62.5 %) or is this wrong?

Thank you!

Post | Skalmann posted in Chatter: How do you analyze your hands?
Hello! First post here and I must apologize in advance that this post might be a little all over the place but the core question is as the title reads How do you guys analyze/review your hands. I'm starting to feel that I have acquired some of the skills necessary to evolve as a poker player. I have read EHUNL and Applications of NLHE and watched some videos. But besides reading and watching videos I've been slacking and I think i need to start review and analyze more hands do evolve as a player, therefore I come here searching advice on how to best analyze hands.

1. Do you guys use a standardized model for all your hand analyzes?
2. Is it desirable to use a standardized model or is it better to analyze different hands in different ways?
3. What tools do you use?

Maybe if someone could describe their model/process that would be awesome. Also are there any videos on this subject? (I find it hard to search on the forum)

If anyone has advice on how to get better with CREV that would also be appreciated.

I think this can serve as a start to get the ball rolling and see if any discussion can come of it and I'll pop in with more questions later.

Thank you!
