Thanks for the advice mate!
I try to play as long as I feel that Im on A game. But sometimes its hard to quit the tables if they seem fishy to me. I wish I could play zoom in Portugal, but all we have is standard tables!
But yes, I will impose myself some nice breaks and build a routine (going to buy an agenda now also to impose the study hours at least and gym time).

Post | Turiacus posted in NLHE: Lacking Grind Discipline

Good afternoon guys,

I'm struggling with something and would like you to give me your opinion.

I used to play MTTs, and now Im playing cash game more seriously since the beginning of this year.
The thing is all my sessions have this standard: I start playing, if Im down I keep playing trying to get another positive day, and if Im up I never stop until I loose like 3 buyins or whatever. Then Im not motivated to grind anymore on that day even if it happened in like 2 hours.
Today I was up 1200€, lost like 600€ and stopped. Tables are still probably good, but I just can't.
Im a bit scared, and loosing what Ive worked for on the day pisses me off badly!
I also start thinking that Im not in the best shape to play, it's kind of my mind playing tricks on me because Im lazy as f...
For example on January and February I played 3,5h per day on average...
Whats the vision I need to have to be more professional and just keep playing focusing on the long run, instead of pretty much hit n running everyday.

Thanks
