Hi,

I disagree that the flop c/r will only invite calls from better. He called pre so he has no overpairs.

As you said:

we will be often perceived as having a fd with gutter or oe.

So I doubt i get him to fold his pairs on the flop.

We can't take this line and c/r the turn as the hands with which he bets the flop (eg 55-88), check back the turn.
I agree that the river call off is bad. He has close to 0 bluffs there vs 2 perceived fish.
