Preflop ($1.50) Hero is UTG with Q Q
Hero raises to $3.00, MP folds, CO calls $3.00, 3 folds
Flop ($7.50) 2 9 K
Hero checks, CO checks
Here on the flop is a standart check I guess
Turn ($7.50) 2 9 K 7
Hero checks, CO bets $3.00, Hero calls $3.00
So here we go, we got chback OTF so now we can exclude the vast of his TP and this 7 only improved his 77 to set, so our eq edge here vs his range is huge. But what is the best way to play it? How we have to build our turn B and check range and if we bet turn then what is the bluff range and value range on the blank river? Should we have some TP and slowplays in flop checking range?Does somebody think that its better to play BET BET with QQ with small sizing like 1/.2 of pot or there is a merit to move the action only to river and get some value from his bluffs OTT?
River ($13.50) 2 9 K 7 T

He does have some sort of overcards and overpairs on this board when he check and ocassional trips+ that are very rare probably. So, if I bet all my trips+ OTF I keep my checking range very weakened and he can profitably bets 2 barrels OTT and OTR and I dnt have anything to do with it. So I assume we have to chbeh some FH and trips. Am i right? Is it mandatory for him to bet his AA-JJ here? How our and his ranges should look like on this type of boards?

Feb. 13, 2015 | 4:25 p.m.

on 18:00 - If he bets the turn do u prefer folding it or calling? It looks like a pretty top of ur range because we xr most of trips on the flop and we have only a few of them and 66,88,Ahigh, prolly Khigh. So if we fold the turn it looks like we can be seriously exploited here by c-bet 100%

Feb. 3, 2015 | 11:24 p.m.

In the first hand, given the fact that the majority of his xc range OTR is Qx - there is no reason to valuebet it unless you think that he could herocall you with Jx or worse. He called with 55 bud you didnt expect that. The reason is that you split with any Qx OTR so u really dont get value from worse Q because they don't exist. So if we think that the worst hand of his xc range is Q and he does have some value xr here it is -ev valuebet or I miss smth?

Feb. 1, 2015 | 1:59 p.m.

Hi, Jonas, nice video! I have a question about the hand J8d. If He bets not pot on the river but smth like 50-60% of the pot - does this sizing possible for good reg in this spot? And if he does it would u XR him or just XC?

Jan. 30, 2015 | 1:36 p.m.

On 46 min u r potting AJT8, How would u play if the turn is K ,Q,2 or 3 of clubs? Are u assuming xf there or potting this hand as bluff? can be good as well?

The best format of videos, Phil! I enjoyed much, waiting for same videos in the future. For example how we should react IP on this type of bets, smaall cbets on locked down and non locked down boards, how to fight againsta this strategy. Or videos about playing 3bet pots OOP if we raised and call our opponent. Thank you so much!

if I have t987 and there are 3 scenarios:

1) My opp has AAxx;

2)He has AAxx, KKxx

3) He has 10% of the range

For what situation which graph I have to use?

It's a 4 way pot and I don't assume that I'm favorite vs his pot-bet range, but my spr is about 1,3 so I have to shove? If look on this situation other way my fd is alway worst but if 1 of other 2 guys had it they would fold it facing potbet and my raise, so i can rely on my FD is alive vs 55;33;KK, if he has some combinations of fd+gs or fd+pair we are not so bad too, so with these stacksizes i decided to shove. Is it a right logic for these circumstances?

If He has aa and my hand is t987 then I should estimate it like he has range or hand? And why there are 2 different graphs for similar situation?

Hello everybody, I just got familiar with pptools graphs and couldn't caught what is the difference between HvH and HvR graphs. Reading FAQ several times didn't make things easier to understand, google didn't help as well. Therefore, I decided to ask help here. Couldn't someone describe this stuff in details?

Now. looking back I think that this bet is a poor play, because we make to fold all hands that have very low eq vs our hand; and all worse fd we want to hit their flush and pay off to us. Against better hands we don't have FE at all. So checking is the only and the best line here?

I guessed thtat it always be called only after me and I close the action that is why I assesed that I have enough pot-odds for calling there(Is it right with these stack-sizes?) But I was wrong and get c/r, so now I think He can hold some weak aces there, range of SB is really wide and now we need only 25% equity in 3-way pot, so I thought I can't fold already. But until the hand I had a disgusting feeling that these guys own me and I just throw my money. Do I really have mistakes there?

Is it come here like we potbet and shove flop or Turnand we can't choose something better? Because it seems like when we get called we never have necessary 41% Eq here, then what is the reason to potbet. Maybe better to bet small showing weakness and that c/r can make us to fold our hand smtms? Therefore, opponents can get involved in the pot with wider range and our equity would be better? Or it's kind of things that don't worth thinking about them?
