I think that vision may have a small weakness against small turn bets and hence why they get used so much - the response is always pot or call but on lockdown textures (eg kj69hhh) a close to minraise would make a lot of sense from oop against a small turn stab.

@22:11 you’ve forgotten to give IP 66 and 77? Like the vid tho!

And my 2 cents at 24:40 is that you'll be losing quite a lot of money calling here every time, probably in gtoland and definitely in reality. In the sandwich spot vs an overbet I don't see what reason you have not to be extremely tight.

With the 'block' sizing being as much as 1/2 pot with reasonable frequency - funky spot

I was the guy with AA at 17:56 - I've checked it and I should be blocking river having x/raised force you to call more underpairs, shove is quite a bit worse (edit I say quite a bit its 2bb)

Would be awesome if something hot on the pipeline could be flush draw flops where the lowest or middle card is the offsuit one :)

I think this would be improved by having a summary of your findings at the very beginning, similar to an abstract on an academic paper.

29:00 Top left what do you think about developing a leading range on the 9 turn?

could it have something to do with preventing OOP being able to smth ridiculous like bet-call AK?

8:20 left table why can't we just x/c this hand?
June 22, 2016 | 4:45 p.m.
76hh 38:00 What do you think in theory and in practice of firing off starting from the flop with this hand? You block some weak Ax which might call down some runouts and don't really block many call-fold hands. What if the pot was HU against UTG?
I realise you are mainly opting for stack preservation - is this then an argument to make fewer speculative pf peels?

Is it proven that HUNL is solvable? At this point it seems overwhelming likely, but has anyone actually confirmed it?

I think you nailed it when you said that while this stuff is all very interesting, in the end it's largely unhelpful when it comes to practical application. Bit like trying to learn how to play snooker from a mechanics textbook.

27:50 65s seems like a clear shove on the river having called turn.

Should also mention: very nice video overall!

TT hand you really think he's gonna bluffraise this sizing ever? If he's sitting there with KK, KQ and feels like making a move he'll just shove. For this size if he was ever going to bluff, a hand like AT makes a fair bit of sense to do it with, so I think your blockers further screw you over against an already massively Jx-heavy range.

I was more referring to your sizing choice in a couple of spots. < Pot on the river and the recs will just mindlessly call their midpair or whatever. Bump it up to even ~110% pot and suddenly they notice they have a fold button.

Title should be how not to bluff against recreational players! You gotta really sell it to them man, they simply were not buying at all this time.

On the K3JQK board, Id be very surprised if it was too thin for him to overbet a lot of Kx, given how many Jx and Qx you'll feel obliged to defend.
March 28, 2016 | 5:02 p.m.
9c6A5c board how about checking back turn and bluffing river if we miss. Avoids getting raised ott (however unlikely this is) and lets you comfortably vbet river for large sizing if you hit. Seems like a turn range of stronger semibluffs and a load of purebluffs makes more sense.

I took one look at the homepage and thought it was elaborate troll. Can't believe they are seriously trying to get people to pay for that shite.
Why have you not given oop blockbet or overbet river
