Live play versus a session review or hand analysis/CREV videos are a lot different and they both have their benefits and drawbacks.  Yes, live play videos don't get as deep into the thought process behind hands- but at the same time, I think there is a lot of value to be gained to see the thought process that goes into hands while in game.  Also, I have personally found the live play videos to be less educational but more entertaining then session replay videos.

I don't think one is better or worse then the other, just different.

Nice video Ben

I would love to see some 8 game or 27TD content from Phil.

If you're playing NL50, I'm pretty sure paying two buyins a month for an elite membership is going to be worth it.

Enjoyed the video.  I'd like to see lots more CREV content in the future!

Unfortunately it's been cap the last few days.  On the other hand, there's been some big 2k/4k 2-7 TDL games running...

"I played a hand before where he 3bet my UTG OR and flatted my 4bet with A6s (with no prior history before this).
Given this I decided to 4bet/call preflop. I chose to make it slightly smaller preflop to let him spazz. "

SB: $101.06
BB: $164.45 (Hero)
UTG: $141.76
HJ: $27.25
CO: $102.50
BN: $78.30
Not too much info on villain, had only played about 80 hands with each other up to this point, only information on him is that he is reggy and aggresive. I believe villain perceives me as reggy as well.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A Q
UTG raises to $3, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, Hero calls $2
Flop ($6.50) J Q 8 (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG checks
I think that villains flop check back consists of a lot of AJ/KJ/TT/99 type hands, along with some underpairs that are just giving up on this flop that smashes my perceived bb defending range. I'm not sure whether villain will cbet AK/AT/KT and AA/KK on this flop, but and under the impression that he will usually cbet these hands.
Turn ($6.50) 5 (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $4.33, Hero raises to $14.43, UTG calls $10.10
On the turn, I think my AQ is strong enough to go for a thin value x/r.
River ($35.36) J (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $26.52, Hero raises to $147.02
On the river, my plan is to check and to shove as a bluff if villain bets. Villains range is relatively capped (but consists of a lot of Jx hands,) whereas I have all QQ/JJ/QJs/88 combos in my perceived range, along with AsKs, AsTs, and KsTs. He can only have 55 for nutted hands, and has a discounted amount of AsKs/AsTs/KsTs combos (although all these combos are most likely floating the turn check/raise if they did check back the flop.) Having the Qs has some value as well, blocking hands like KsQs that villain may have checked back with.

So if villian is using the strategy mentioned at ~14:45 (minraising 65% and folding 35%,) is our new minimum defense frequency 50%*.65, or 32.5%?

In LHE I wouldn't worry about balancing any timing issues and just play in natural flow, it tends to move pretty quickly anyways.
