any updates on this issue?

I joined their program when I was transitioning from NLHE to PLO in January 2016.
Few pointers for people:
-John Beauprez (PLO coach) and his materials are very good and I can't give him enough credit and respect. He knows his shit.
-99% of the guys will never get there, simply because they have 1k to their name, pay 500 deposit and have 500 roll to play the micros. They are expected to lose at the beginning, especially in PLO, so they probably bust the roll and its game over. Nobody thinks long term that they have to put more money in.
-Terms of the contract are a complete joke, they want 100% of ALL your poker income, even if you play live MTTs and sign up for PLO program. I was a winning 500 nhle reg so I found it completely unacceptable. I quit and binked 3rd place in this years WSOP. If I didn't quit, I would have to ship them 30k euro for nothing and that would be gg for me after less than 2 months on the program.
- When I tried to quit after making more than 5k ( my transition was pretty fast), BPC wanted most of it because I broke the terms etc. We ended up splitting the profit and parting ways.
- I am not here to spill shit on BPC, I see a lot of upsides to the program, but the way its structured is to do with numbers of people they get so they bag the deposit and maybe some small pocket change.

I played with you in NL and you are very good imo. But its nearly disrespectful to PLO if you think you can just jump in and do well. You lack basic PLO fundamentals, definitely move down if you want to save some cash.

Hi,
min 1.30 AQ 3 bet, why would we ever want to bet this big on K9x? its obvious we have a stronger range vs range, but this strategy seems a bit short sighted and vs anyone decent your bet looks fos.

Post | maslalo posted in PLO: Looking for a PLO coach

Greetings RIO community!

I have been a long time NLHE player and do not see a bright future ahead for NL. Hence I would like to transition to PLO.
Can people recommend a good coach? His credentials have to be verifiable and he has to be current player/winner at the games.

I am willing to commit as a long term student. Payment will be done hourly/package or we can make a deal for profit sharing ( I would like to make sure that a coach has his/mine best interests).

Hi Peter, have you been to Malta?

Mike, after x/c flop, xx turn, your lead with whole range on river is stronger than his range

x/f is weak and good players will notice rather quickly.

agree with Sean, I bet this board close to 100% with my sq range for about 1/3 psb. Co is probably very wide, bu will give you tons of respect. you have a really nice hand in this spot with backdoor draws and block JJ and bu slowplayed AA sometimes.

history with the villain way outweighs his stats here, without a read for 100bb I get it in and note the outcome.

Its funny how nobody even considers X calling this flop. I know its easier to xc with Kc in your hand, BUT this will give you a ton of info on the villain AND he will value bet anything that he is willing to call with for you, so you keep all his range in.
I understand that bet is standard... I just play a bit different i guess.

In this kind of spot its good to know aggr. freq. by street. I find that around 20% aggr OTR doesnt bluff. this is history specific, could be easy call or easy fold.

also like bigger cb on flop, like 5.5ish

bet flop, bet/fold turn vs uknown. you define their range/ get value from OESD, FD and worse pairs and don't end up guessing for the rest of the hand.
You could bluff catch rivers on blanks/ bet for value against someone you have reads on.
Vs someone who can hand read your hand looks like it is something that is scared of a J, especially when you just c/c.
I can see an argument to check for balance because you probably give up a lot here, but its 100nl, take best value lines.
