Ty, play a lot of 3 handed SNG and Hyper tourneys. Will study more but feel this will help me.

Ty Owen, I have never used PIO so found the review of SIMS very interesting. I fell I have learnt something I can use in the small stakes tourneys I play

I also play low stakes and am a losing PLO player. I have tried to reduce tables to give me more time to think through hands. Make notes on players and review your hands, it sounds like you have a hud where you can do that review outside of playing. If you are getting it in bad often try and tighten up what you play big pots with.

i think the flop is a fold, your draw is to the wrong end of the straight and you could already be dominated.

I think the flop bet is fine as is the turn check. I am looking to get to showdown on the river so would not bet there, if bet in to would fold to a pot bet. I do struggle with being aggressive enough though.

I think bet the flop for value when the st draw is there. When it comes in I would check but I struggle in these spots as well.

When this situation happens take a breath, use your time bank. If it corresponds to other times find the fold. Lot's of players do not like to be bluffed but it will happen to all of us. If you find you are short of time then the advice to play less tables is good.

I think checking flop is ok if you expect him to bet. If he did bet flop would you call or raise? On the turn I think you need to pot. The river is tough with 2nd nuts and no reads, I struggle to fold in this spot. I would also be interested in other opinions on river.

I have the same problem, small profit on showdown and all losses on red line.

Jan. 2, 2021 | 10:35 a.m.

I think you could jam on this board. Depending on the players a 25% bet might clear the other two out.

Hi Kitty, I think 3 bet is ok. I would fold on turn due to the large sizing

Thanks for this. I enjoy PLO but only play a little. I reviewed my database and have lost 10bb per 100. Will play lower and try and learn from this

I would check the turn and if he checks shove river if board does not pair.

I think a call or raise are both reasonable plays. With 17BB's I would lean to call but you are almost certain to face a c bet after the flop. If you are focused mainly on a final table the shove is a good steal spot in my opinion.

For me 4 tables seems optimum but have played up to 8 but found I struggle after a couple of hours

The 8 9 hand that started at 37.30. On the flop you say we can certainly not fold but we are putting in over 15% of our stack with a gut shot and most likely the worst hand. Even if he checks the turn we most likely have to bluff the river to win the pot. It feels to me like we should wait for a better spot. On consideration would you agree or are you happy with the play? Excellent series.
