I have purchased your HUD popups and I would like to leave some feedback and share it with the comunity:

It is really great! I personally have each individual popup assigned for each individual stat as, i.e., BTN 3bet vs CO, BTN CC vs CO, BB 3bet vs BTN, SB OR, BTN 4bet vs BB... so it's easier for me not only seeing the frequency but knowing the distribution.

What I like the most is that they are not heavy, I have about 16-17 different range popups in my HUD and I also have a bunch of custom stats and despite of that it loads pretty fast. I have tried other matrix popups but I couldn't manage to use them because it took ages to load the HUD when in play or reviewing hands.

So nice job. Congrats!

Comment | sojo commented on New RIO Layout

Hi guys, I love this new format, specially being able to filter on the phone. There are a couple of issues though (On Google Chrome):

  • Can't find my "likes" on my profile tab.
  • Notifications: it does not appear the thread tittle in any notification, just "xxx" commented on the thread
  • In general, it seems to load quite slowly.

Thanks for changing the sound in the video's intro. My ears are thankful!

Where's my RIO T-Shirt!? xD

Yeah I was very dissapointed with his transfer. He is an outstanding player! He just need to be more constant but really love to see him play! Enjoy him!

Just kidding! Bayern is just too strong!

Here's a Real Madrid supporter.

What a nice video this would be...

I would appreciate a NLHE concept video talking about the NSDW and how they should look like when trying to develop a more balanced play.

Thanks for asking!

Thanks, Felipe. Really helpfull video. I like your explanation about how you would split your ranges OTR and the math behind them. I'd love to see you doing it in a multiple street scenario.

Thanks again for taking your time producing your videos.

Yep, same problem using Chrome.

Poker Ranger. It is a Range vs Range analysis tool. It also has an EV Calc. You have to estimate what hands he can fold, bet or call with and see what would be the EV of your move.

Ben,

kind of an offtopic:

I personally would be very interested in what are your thoughts on Pokersnowie and how does it chop ranges, if you have already tested the soft.

BTW, your series are superb. I do like to see you "scratching in the surface" and bringing us different perspectives and approaches to the game. It is No Limit, baby!

I also love your posts so please, do not stop posting/answering!

All that said, when is Sauce's book comming out!??? ^_^

My personal setup in Colour Coding System is to mark, in a big sample size, those regs with a nice EV/100BB ratio, another colour for those slightly winners/breakeven players and another one for those who are -X EV/100BB. I do often mark those reg-fish if they are not losing a lot and those who are burning money (again, a big sample size). I do not want to to use colour tag for any specific tendencies or to indicate something you can check on your HUD at a glance. I used to mark specific tendencies preflop with different colours but I realised that I was playing so much tight/loose vs them. So you can think that dividing different players depending on their EV/100 may condition me as much as the previous system, and it probably does, but it helps me to see how better players than me play and observe how they act, specially postflop.

On note taking I do not go crazy with them. I use to wite down any unusual hand or move, specially if I am able to see his holding. Not to say "he is always 4betting garbage from the blinds" but to realise that he can deviate from the "standard way". And on generic note taking I do not want to be so much generic. In your example, for instance, you say Passive with set. Does it meas always? Or just Dry boards? Drawy Boards? Flush Draw boards? STRD Boards? OTF? OTT?

So this is my procedure, maybe I am going wrong with all this. I think your idea is nice: we can share our ideas and discover our own weaknesses.

Nice post

Regards

Try to upload an snapshot of your stats so we can check if you are folding too much vs 3Bets pre, or XF too much on flops, or folding after your Cbet is raise,d or just folding too much on the river. There are many things to check first before giving you any main advice IMHO.

Comment | sojo commented on PT4 or HM2

I would go on PT4 if you look for study/filter different spots. It also has some really powerful tools and stats edition wich is fine. If you are focussing on live play then I will go on HEM because of the NotteCaddy implementation.

I am using PT4. Maybe you are used to HEM soft or HUD pop ups. I was using HEM2 but it took ages to load in my PC so I decided to move to PT4.

There is not such a big difference, actually.

Up to you!

I think there will be a lot of homework/study just reading "The Application of NLHE" ¬¬'

Hello everyone! Great job! Seems like THE Book is on the way!
I would find pretty interesting a chapter in Part Seven talking about how to improve yourself by using your tracker and/or other software stuff. Like, for instance, apply some postflop filters to see how we are doing certain spots, or just to check how wide are we opening FTB... So, you could say this is like making your own Leak Tracker, but I think that filtering in HM2/PT4 is a really powerfull tool.

Regards & Good Luck!

Hi there!

Love RunItOnce! It's about time 2.0 web era arrives to the poker forums/sites

I just can not listen to music while playing because I focus into music so much and start singing and stuff like that. I rather prefer this when grinding:

Always need a background noise to stay focus.
