Anyone have any book recommendations for practicing math?

I was looking at Doug Hull's book, but it's $45. It seems everything associated with Ed Miller is laden with self-promotion, and thus, preposterous prices.

I bought the Kindle Sample and liked it, but I'd like to know if the whole book is worth it, or if there is other material out there that would be more cost effective.

"It all depends on how wide he has been opening. Have you any extra
info on the villain? Rfi ufg? Fold to 3 bet stat? I can quite easily
imagine him opening very tight utg vs 6 10bb or under stacks. If this
is true then this is a mistake. If not then shove is fine."

Ditto. Use ICMizer to give villain different ranges: 5%, 8%, 10%, 12%, etc., and see how shoving KQs does in those spots. It's villain dependent here.

$125 buyin, deepstack semi-turbo At the seminole Hard Rock in Tampa, FL.

The action in the hand is irrelevant. I had QQ and the board ran out JT5KA, for my rivered nut straight, no flushes on the board.

I'm in the SB and checked to villain who was in the HJ. I intended to x/r, but he checked behind. A player told the dealer I checked the nuts, so he called the tourney director over. The director told me I cannot check the nuts and gave me a warning. I told him that I didn't have position in the hand, and was therefore allowed to check the nuts with the intent to x/r. He said no, and he gave me a warning. I'm just double-checking, because I'm fairly certain that I am correct. But if not, whatevs.

To make it clear: One can check the nuts OOP in a live tourney. Correct?
