Hello,
I was curious if these stats were for 6MAX or Full ring. I imagine it doesn't matter too much but just curious.
Loving your course so far btw! Thank you!

So, just to be clear... if you're playing 5/10. Somebody opens to 30, 5x means you make it 150, correct?

Very nice video! I always thought 3x or 3.5x was optimal. Thank you!

You can play on CoinPoker as well. It's crypto deposit only and you can only play with real people.

Just curious to see the what PIO charts have really helped your game or have had a big impact on your poker philosophy.
Many thanks in advance!

what does going for full range mean?
April 27, 2017 | 4:20 a.m.
when you say "Cbet range" what does this mean? You can bet 100% of the time for 1/3 of the pot?

Villain is standard TAG, young.
Preflop: EP limps for 5
Lowjack limps for 5
Hero in the HJ makes it 40 with QhTh
Villain flats
everyone folds except the HJ.
FlopQd3c4c:
Check, check, Bet 100 (very quick bet, didn't think very long), Fold, Hero Calls
Turn: 7h
Check, Bet 200 (another quick bet), Hero Calls
River: 8s
Villain tanked for about 45 seconds and ships it for $515.
I folded because he's pretty tight... but it seems pretty polarizing. What can he possibly have? 7c8c. Could easily have any nut flush draw combo. I'm pretty confident he checks down TT or KQ, QJ on the river and possibly AQ.
Looking back I wish I just bet the flop... I could have led out 85 or 90 and then bet 180 on the Turn that would have me some cheddar. On the river it'll be an easier check fold also.
Thanks in advance!

I would bet here and just check the river if you don't improve. Depends on the players. Better tens are calling you but they aren't happy with it, if you have enough respect they will probably lay down KT QT. Flush draws and straight draws are peeling for sure on the Turn. If your opponents are able to check raise on a draw then don't bet. I think I'd bet pretty small. Maybe 3/5 pot, maybe even half pot would be good depending on what you their would be.

I agree with zydes. There is so little information about the history you have. It depends on the player and the history. Against the average 21/17 player I fold. I dont know what the 7.8 means. I assume it's 3B range PF. I'm new here :D

I have used HEM and PT4 for years but I don't do that much in depth analysis of where I can make improvements.
I think the most important is hand history review, but outside of that I am having a hard time finding my leaks.
Maybe somebody could do a video on that :)
Fun fact: When it was 2005 I saw that I lost $90K with KQo playing $10/20 NL full ring over about 4 months. I had netted about 80K overall that summer.

You said 5B jamming 77 is standard. Have I been living under a rock? Is that for all opponents or do you have history against that villain?
Would you say that is standard in a normal 6 handed game at 5/10 on stars? I play in more passive/fishier games and I am rarely 5Betting anything other than AQs+ and QQ+ vs most regs.
Also, another hand you defended T8s on the BB and then checked back the turn after turning a flush draw and having the third pair. ON TJx-K, is there a reason you checked there? I feel like after the flop gets checked thru I am always betting the turn.

mix everything up if they keep doing it. Like gandalf said, open up your iso range. I think checking back more is a mistake unless the board is wet. You also have to be able to call down with an overpair once in awhile otherwise you're going to be exploited nonstop.
I feel like the EV does get lowered by a smidgeon. The fact that you don't reshuffle the cards on the first run means that something should change. Am I wrong here? You are trading a small amount of EV for a huge decrease in variance IMO.
