@Richard gryko
I enjoyed the video a lot. Thank you!

When you analyse a spot on the right side there are the colored squares telling you the suit. In some of the squares there is the letter A for Ace. But what does B mean?

Hey phil!
Thanks for reviewing my videos. I got concrete and clear ideas what i have to work on and thats exactly what i wanted to get out of this:-) I ll look at my preflop game and my cbetting strategy.

I will take your advice and try vision to improve my cbetting. I asked you to review part 4 but i think that is no longer necessary. I d rather ask you to review a new video after i sudied cbetting with vision for a couple of months. (I will only aproach you when and if i have the feeling i got flop-cbets down like a pro. LOL, wouldn t that be a great advertisment for vision if my cbetting got sharp?
I own and have read every book on plo (not an exageration) and still play like a half-wit. I need to change something and vision might just do the trick because of the active learning. I just thought of the titel for the next video: „half-wit turned profitable with vision“. (Pls dont do that but it would make a great titel, LOL)

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! The info i got is just perfect! Everything i was hoping for! Keep on doing what you are doing. You are just great at it:-)

On a side note: handreading (and therefore the abillity to value bet) is really difficult for me. I start deducting hands that villan can have on flops and turns and so on and then the idea creeps into my mind that its so easy to throw off everying i deducted or concluded with a single deception check from villan. Especially when he flopped or turned the nuts it would make sense for villan to slowplay. So i often dont trust my reads. I know its more a psychological problem than a strategy problem. When i think about it rationally then i am aware that i should just go with my handreading because more often than not, villan plays straight forward, especially at my limits. In the long run it will make money.

jools_c Thanks for your thoughts. You made a couple of good points. I ll give RIO a shot:-)

PS: Hehe, hell yeah i like supporting Phil way more than Poker Stars.
PPS: I just had an epiphany. I have always thought that i have to stay at Poker Stars because thats where all the players are. If everyone thought that then it will always stay that way...

Hey Ernestas! I thought about going to another site but i never considered RIO. In my mind, the average player at RIO is tougher than the average Stars player because of the attached training site. I imagined Rio to be a sharktank waiting for players like me. Half empty tables with tough players sitting out til recreational players sit down and then the table lights up with action. Hehe, is my vivid imagination going too far? Let me know what you think.
(And yeah, i did a pokerstars challenge in march where i had to complete an x amount of rake to get x amount of money. That was the first time i looked at the rake. Its actually ridiculous. I had a session where i grinded out 30 bucks in 3 hours and saw that i was raked for 50 bucks. and that makes it not interesting in the long run)

Hey guys!
praisospalter - thx, i ll try that (i didnt even know that u could turn that off)
@ Ernestas Romeika - you are probably right. I didnt even spot that cause the hand flashes by so quick. Like Phil said i have to loosen up preflop. A friend of mine once said that i should play normal tables for a change because then i would appreciate playable hands more. Playing Zoom i started tightening up because of the feeling that hands come quickly and are abundant (when in doubt just fold preflop).
On a sidenote: I have been playing poker recreationally for 15 years and more or less been a break even player. Never studying and actually not thinking about the game at all. And when i studied i never incorporated anything learned into my play. Autopiloting passing time in the evenings. 18 months ago i decided that either i learn the game and take it serious or stop completely. Just that decision and focusing more made me a profitable player at ZOOM10. The reason i wrote all that is to explain this: I am having a hard time getting rid of my bad habits from years of "pushing random buttons". Like that hand at 27:34 where i came into the pot for a small loose raise UTG. That is old Mike on a short autopiloting moment. The new Mike wouldnt do that. Anyway, thx for your advice!

Hey Phil! Thanx so much for reviewing my video.

AA69 on 34A8Q board (29:55min)
River check back - What was going on in my head? I lam happy to tell ya even though you said it all.
- I thought the BB is calling very wide because of pot odds. So in my mind 52 was totally possible. I was afraid of a big check-raise because he knows i cant have 52 ever. I thought that i might just hero-fold to a big check raise fearing he had a hand like 2345, 2245, 2335, 2455. Seeing it now, the check-back does seem silly. I dont want to defend my play at all but if the inintial rasier or the button had been in the hand instead of the bb, i would have probably gone for value on the river. Anyway, you explained that check-back spot very well and it makes totally sense.

PS: I hope that its not too late to ask you. I ve sent 4 parts. You reviewed part 1. Is it possible that you take part 4 as your second review? I made about 70 dollars in profit in part 1-3 and in part 4 i magically turn this session into a slight loser, losing the 70 profit and than some. I believe that in part 4 there are some interesting spots where i spew money away....
If its too late then don t worry about it, i am very grateful as is:-)
Cheerios, Mike
Keep on doing what u are doing Phil! You are great at it! Thx
