Hi RIO community!

So I've just taken the first steps towards improving my overall poker knowledge and diversifying away from one game type that has kept me busy for the past 4 years (3 times Supernova Elite).

I'm a cash games reg but looking to move away from the rakeback grind that is Stars, specifically CAP poker. Been talking to a few people about 6m hypers but decided not to go in that direction given the huge variance and the 1-2% roi that the top guys are achieving right now...so the decision is to try something new like MTTs. My past experience of MTTs has been the VIP monthly and quarterly freerolls on PS, aswell as midstakes SCOOP/WCOOP tournies where frankly, I didn't really have a clue what to do.

WCOOP is coming up in September, and I have around $5k of buyins to splash around as part of my SNE rewards from last year. So this time, I'm going to learn some new things in the next few months before that comes around. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this going along with my regular grind. 

I chose RIO because it seems like the community is really active here, and pros give feedback and answer questions on the videos they produce. Its quite funny because I actually have a lifetime membership without cost at another well known training site (not going to name it) but I never really used it because it went vastly downhill.

First stop at RIO, look at the essential MTT videos and get involved!
