Standard cooler?

Blinds: t40/t80 (6 Players) CO: 9,848
BN: 1,924
SB: 3,835
BB: 4,610 (Hero)
UTG: 2,680
MP: 5,433
Preflop (120) Hero is BB with K 9
2 folds, CO raises to 240, BN calls 240, SB calls 200, Hero calls 160
Flop (960) Q 2 A
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets 480, BN folds, SB folds, Hero raises to 4,370 and is all in, CO calls 3,890
Turn (9,700) Q 2 A 3
River (9,700) Q 2 A 3 2
Final Pot CO wins and shows two pair, Aces and Deuces.
BB lost and shows a pair of Deuces.
CO wins 9,700

Can I play this differently?
I am wondering what are the circumstances needed for making a donk bet on the flop with a flushdraw or check-raising in similar situations as I understand that in this particular spot with bigger stacks check-calling would be an optimal play but are other options just for balancing?
