First time posting a hand here, hopefully I didn't mess up.
So I shared this hand on a diff forum and it raise a lot of discussion. Everyone was like WTF, why didn't you just call or used a missed FD as a bluff. In game my thought process was calling is -EV (I think), raising with FD also negative, I think that I should have some bluffs and decided to use the 58s combos as such. After thinking about the hand later I think the best bluff combos would be Q8.
This is how I construct my flop betting range that can value shove on the River
JJ- 2 combos check one bet
88-bet
J8-3 combos bet, 3 check
89-6 combos bet
78s -1 combo bet
=12 combos of FH on the River that I can shove with. Giving the price we give him (27%) we need 3,25 bluff combos (correct me if I am wrong)
Do you think we need to bluff ever in this situation on this limit and is Q8 the best hand to bluff with (we block nut straight also)?
