5NL AQ on connected flop

SB: $4.27
BB: $5.32
HJ: $5.26 (Hero)
CO: $4.90
BN: $4
Villain's VPIP: 27 PFR: 4 over ~50 hands

One note I had on him was earlier in the session he c/c with 66 on QT8tt (BB vs. BTN)
Preflop ($0.07) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt A Q
Hero raises to $0.15, CO folds, BN calls $0.15, SB folds, BB folds
Flop ($0.37) J K Q (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.23, BN calls $0.23
With how loose the villain was, I thought that betting the flop for value was correct as I could get value from quite a few weaker hands.
My bet should have been much bigger though, don't know why I bet so small.
Turn ($0.83) J K Q 8 (2 Players)
Hero bets $0.56, BN calls $0.56
Against such a player I feel like there is still some value in betting on the turn, or is it a bit thin?
River ($1.95) J K Q 8 4 (2 Players)
Getting to the river, I think checking (and probably folding) is best?
