NL200 4B pot w/ TPTK

BN: $971.01 (Hero)
SB: $221.72
BB: $198
UTG: $262.50
HJ: $353.45
CO: $99.55
Villain is a good regular but I have him down as not making many thin value bets when the board gets even remotely scary.

I also played a hand with him where he just flat called with AA in MP vs. my UTG and snapped off 3-barrels on a K22xx board.
Preflop ($3.00) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A 8
UTG folds, HJ folds, CO folds, Hero raises to $5, SB raises to $16, BB folds, Hero raises to $38, SB calls $22
Villain had a high 3B from SB (double digits) but also a relatively high fold to 4B % so I decided to 4B my hand since I can't flat with it. TBH I wasn't expecting him to just flat.
Flop ($84.00) 8 4 2 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $20, SB raises to $82
I think villain's hand is AQ/KQs a lot. Also AA or KK trapping (since we saw he liked to trap previously). Or maybe some suited connectors 76s-JTs that really want to see a flop.

I was really debating if I should check back or bet small to protect my hand.

On this board I don't think he has 22/44 and I block the 88.

Call, Jam, Fold?
