OOP With AKS facing heavy overbet jam

Preflop ($0.15) Hero is BB with A K
2 folds, CO raises to $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.05, CO calls $0.80
Flop ($2.15) J 5 T
Hero checks, CO checks
Turn ($2.15) J 5 T K
Hero bets $1.35, CO raises to $9.23 and is all in, Hero calls $7.88
River ($20.61) J 5 T K 7
Final Pot BB lost and shows a pair of Kings.
CO wins and shows a straight, Ten to Ace.
CO wins $19.68
Rake is $0.93

Was encouraged to post the hand to the forum so I will.

Taking the hand in to consideration - I think leading turn here would make some sense for protection.
But when we face a overbet jam I dont think villain has or do bluff enough to make this a valid call.

When reraising with 4.2x OOP, I think villains calling range would be JJ+ - AA/KK 20% - AQo 50% AKo - AJs+.
Could of course be different, but I think that is a reasonable calling frequency.

But the only reasonable explanation I find here to shove, is to get protection vs bad river runouts or value. Its not much in this range that is not connecting. Was tired and did not make a great assessment of the situation. Thoughts?
