Partnering with Like-Minded Poker Players (Study Partner/Small Group)

Hi All - I am looking for a partner or small study group of dedicated full-time poker players working their way up the stakes in Online 6max NLHE. I currently play 100NL 6max regular tables on Ignition/Bovada and recently made the decision to fully dedicate myself to becoming the best poker player I can be with poker as my sole source of income. The next 6 months I am spending approx. 80hrs each week on improving my poker game and building my bankroll with the goal of being a winning player at 500NL in 6 months time and earning a sustainable living.

Brief Background: 26yrs old, US-based. I graduated from college in 2017 and worked at a large bank as a Financial Analyst for 3 years in New York City, where poker was my primary hobby and passion. I recently moved back to Southern California to give poker my full attention and dedicate myself to my dream of becoming a professional poker player. I have a strong work ethic, systematic approach to organizing study topics and reviewing playing sessions, and a high level of attention to detail.

Ideally, I would partner up with like-minded individuals in a mutually beneficial poker relationship with certain crossover in mindset and approach to better optimize learning:

  1. US player putting in majority of volume on Ignition (long-term I anticipate moving out of US for additional liquidity unless laws evolve sooner in US to create shared liquidity between larger states)
  2. Use of Pio as primary solver
  3. Monthly volume 30,000+ hands
  4. Works with a coach 1-on-1 (leveraging both of our coaches in focused study will most likely accelerate our progress)
  5. Strong work ethic and fully committed to poker as top priority (Mamba Mentality)
  6. Desire to become elite and one of the best long-term (eventually after years of hard work)

Looking forward to interacting with some of you and moving up the stakes together!
