Preflop Ranges

Preflop Ranges

I am a bit confused on preflop ranges and was hoping some more experienced players could clarify for me. For 6 Max CASH games, I see that some preflop charts have the sb tightening up when the action is folded to them. But most of the preflop charts give sb the widest range, so there is discrepancy.

1. Why do some preflop charts have sb play tighter than button and which is correct?

.

Another question I have is why are all the charts so different. Some preflop charts say that you should RFI UTG with 22+ but others say 66+. And this is just one area they are differences in terms of which suited hands you play.

2. Why are so many charts so different and how do I possibly pick a preflop chart?

.

Lastly, I have been looking into opening bet sizes. I play NL2 on ACR and the rake is HIGH. I have been opening 2.5bb but now I am considering 3bb.

3. If I play with an opening size of 3bb would that reduce the effect of rake because I would be grabbing the blinds slightly more often or does my logic not make sense?
