Super gross spot

BN: alhatatos: $78.25
SB: MANKELIMASA: $295
BB: Hero: $182.66
UTG: rajeev_ds: $150.37
HJ: lpdlamei: $333.55
CO: KeysOfCyprus: $100
Villian is one of the better regs at 100NL Zoom.
He's aggressive, but I haven't seen him do anything insane. Also haven't seen him make the mistakes that a lot of players at these stakes do.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 9 J
rajeev_ds folds, lpdlamei folds, KeysOfCyprus folds, alhatatos folds, MANKELIMASA raises to $3, Hero calls $2
Standard call. No reason to 3-bet, especially deep.
Flop ($6.50) A K T (2 Players)
MANKELIMASA checks, Hero bets $4, MANKELIMASA calls $4
Even though it connects better with the raisers range, he's going to fold here a lot, because I can easily have a pair, flush draw or gutshot.
Turn ($14.50) A K T 3 (2 Players)
MANKELIMASA checks, Hero checks
Thought about betting, but then I remembered a hand Phil Galfond played against Jungleman.
He said that he didn't really like barrelling a naked draw again on a board with little fold equity, knowing you only have 18% equity when called (a little more because of the gutshot), and because you uncap your range and have the ability to raise some rivers.
River ($14.50) A K T 3 2 (2 Players)
MANKELIMASA bets $10, Hero raises to $35.50, MANKELIMASA raises to $288, and is all in, Hero folds
Since we checked the turn, and he always has at least a pair, I think he will value bet here pretty often.
Our flush is a little disguised, and just calling is too weak, in my opinion.

But then he jams!?!

He never jams a Qhigh flush for value, so he has to have the K high flush. That means he'd have to check a pair+flush draw on the flop, which I pretty much never see him doing.
I do think there's a decent chance he check-called the flop with second pair, and is now turning it into a bluff, knowing I can't call him because of his nutt blocker.

He tanked a little before jamming, for what it's worth
Final Pot
MANKELIMASA wins $82.20
