50 Plo Hu Beginner mistake ?

Preflop ($0.75) Hero is SB with 7 2 K K

BB raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.00

Flop ($3.00) 5 K J

Hero checks, BB bets $2.50, Hero raises to $9.00, BB calls $6.50

Turn ($21.00) 5 K J Q

Hero checks, BB bets $16.50, Hero calls $16.50

River ($54.00) 5 K J Q 6

Hero checks, BB bets $20.00, Hero folds

Final Pot BB wins $53.50
Rake is $0.50

in retrospect, i think i took the worst line on the turn there. I am just inviting him to bluff me off the hand even if he does not have a flush.

Furthermore.. there is a chance that a player just calls with his flush on the turn if it is not the nutflush.

Would someone agree with me that betting the turn is much better overall ?
