What do you use for the RNG?

Hey Peter, where are you getting the mass data on player tendencies from? The data you spoke about a couple of times on spots which are under/overfolded?

@5.20 w 9Tss you said "one of the ways a solver will exploit you is by checking back a stronger range" Why would solver X back a stronger range vs a lack of probe bets? Wouldn't you just lose a ton of value since you never capture villains bluffs on later streets?

Could you clarify the comment in the beginning of the video about why you don't think anyone should play these games? Iy seemed like you were suggesting regulars in other games (2/5-5/10?) are roughly as good but I'm not sure exactly what you meant? Or was it specific to GG?

All the details are in the threads I linked including players with larger databases than my own.

Reports are emerging on 2+2 and Reddit that Party has an issue with it's Fast Forward cash games where wining players are not being placed fairly and instead playing more hands in the blinds than the CO or BTN.

You can find the 2+2 thread here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/discussion-poker-sites/partypoker-am-i-getting-too-few-hands-bu-co-1787901/index5.html

The Reddit thread here: https://old.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/pgkbix/ihaveproofthatpartypokerisintentionally/

Part 2 here: https://old.reddit.com/r/poker/comments/pkg1ax/partypokerfastforwardscandalpart2/

After looking at my own DD of over 400k hands I can see the same trend with significantly less hands being dealt in the CO compared to the blinds. If you play on Party you should check your database immediately.

I think folding AK is a significant mistake here. I wouldn't fold AQs either with the backdoors.

It's a 4bet pot BVB so ranges should be wide enough.

At 31;30 with Q8ss your opponent uses a big size on Q94cc which you like, in your experience do you find players are ever really getting finding enough bluffs with this sizing? I have found most players seem to be decent at understanding how they should size various value hands but rarely show up with anything close to a pure bluff, the worst is a decent equity semi bluff.

At 32:50 you bet call w KK and your opponent has A2s which yo don't like but would you bet fold AK or AQ here? You're calling 353 to win 980.
I think he's jamming because a Sim would not be folding AK/AQ here.

Thanks

Hi Tyler, my posts have been in relation to 500z which is not going to be easy (or even really possible?) to massively bumhunt whilst getting any reasonable volume.

Zoom is not his main game because he can't beat it, and the results demonstrate that.
He can't really fake a cpl hundred K hands of Z500 results when multiple coaches/players on this site are regulars in the game. Are you suggesting that others have been faking results?

Saulo instincts were correct in that a significant portion of results were omitted because they would damage his winrate, if Patrick is going to say things like " it's just 17% of my volume" then he should have no issues with including "just 17% of his volume".

I have no idea what you're talking about saying he's battling 3h with good regs every day when his filtered 3h graph has him break even in the 10k sample at 2/5. Not to mention that a 10k sample shouldn't be enough to qualify for Elite status anyway.

You have no idea if he has the best 200nl results on stars because the very best regs play in the zoom pool which aren't tracked (that I know of).

I don't think break even at zoom and winning in regular tables is elite worthy but again the criteria for elite content may be different from person to person.

I agree with Saulo and Demondoink here there's nothing to apologise for. I'm disappointed that Patrick choose to play the victim with "your tone and method" nonsense.

People move away from Zoom games to regular tables because regular tables only stay open for any reasonable length of time with a rec involved which of course makes them far easier, but I'm not paying for Elite content to have a coach show me how to beat fish looking to punt off a cpl hundred.

I don't think an elite coach should be losing/breakeven at the zoom games but it's up to RIO to decide what the criteria is.

k23_BG Are you sure Fedor wasn't saying he would play any two IP vs weaker opponents in tournaments? It's an important difference.

Hi Ben, during the Video you said you wouldn't recommend NLH as the game to learn due to the increasing standard of play even at lower limits, what game would you suggest?

Hi Francesco sorry for the late comment but just seeing the video now. I play vs a lot of regs who I feel fall into the category of over folding on earlier streets and ending up with very strong ranges on later streets. I know it's situational but if I had a large enough DB vs an opponent say 10k hands at zoom what kind of fold/call/raise % would stand out to you as someone who is clearly overfolding vs flop cbets?

Thanks

17:00 you fold 99 vs an UTG raise? 25:30 you fold 66 vs an UTG open ? Do you have no calling range here?

Good luck dude. The poker world badly needs a site with your outlook.

Great Stuff.

If other instructors could do similar to Phil and break down one concept of PLO and focus an entire video or series on it that would be great. I do know a few coaches have done something similar but it's a tiny amount in comparison to the live play PLO vids. Having the concept explained then followed by a series of example HHs is a great format.

More of the same please Phil. Breaking down a single aspect followed by examples is much better than live play. Keep em coming!
