NL25 zoom, top pair with flush blocker versus turn check/raise and river shove

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $17.51
SB: $46.92
BB: $25.00 (Hero)
UTG: $11.34
MP: $12.76
CO: $29.20
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is BB with K 8
4 folds, SB raises to $0.75, Hero calls $0.50
Flop ($1.50) 7 3 K
SB bets $1.05, Hero calls $1.05
Turn ($3.60) 7 3 K 5
SB checks, Hero bets $2.30, SB raises to $6.75, Hero calls $4.45
I guess I could checkback too. Should've used a little bit smaller sizing imo, if I decide to bet.
River ($17.10) 7 3 K 5 5
SB bets $38.37 and is all in, Hero calls $16.45 and is all in
Decided to call because his line seems odd, mainly because he has to expect me to checkback quite a bit on the turn, so he really would not want to check with his strong hands. Also, a hand like AQ/AJ with a flushdraw can take this check/raise line, those hands make sense.
