About Me:
I am a losing recreational player who seems to get into poker for 1 or 2 months every year before dwindling my roll down to zero and becoming disillusioned.

My reasons for trying Runitonce, I did join the community a few years ago and was possibly a member when Phil announced the idea of the new site. Ever since I have kept an ear out for updates on the site and when decided to deposit in the beta stage.

I have experienced all of the well documented errors of the site however I have to take my hat off to the support team who have been very supportive throughout. I lost out on a 100BB pot with the nuts because one table timed out without allowing me to call an all in. I was not hopeful about getting any compensation for the lost buy in and the potential lost earnings from the pot however after an email explaining the issue my money was returned plus what I would have won from the pot which really impressed me. I have reported things to other big name poker sites and have not even been replied to so this level of support has really impressed me. Further to this I have played 2-3 hours each night over the last 7 days and I have not experienced this issue again so I think a fix may have been put into place.

I really enjoy the avatars and have relied on them to help me identify spots where I can push a squeeze through some overly tight players, and when to proceed with caution against aggro players.

I like the site anonymity, I feel I have frequently been identified as a bad player on other sites finding the same players sat at the tables and ISO'ing me making it difficult for me to play. When you are new and trying to sort out your game it is terribly frustating "bum-hunted" and not be able to ease your way into games.

In the first time in ages I have actually found that I have more in my account then when I deposited this is more than likely variance however due to the free month of run it once training site membership that I received for sharing a hand via email I have started to watch some videos and improve. I also then went on to purchase the from the ground up course that has really helped out and am massively grateful to have received an additional free month as a bonus for joining that.

For the first time in a while as a recreational player I feel valued and encouraged to attempt to improve my game. I trust the website because of Phil and his message and I am delighted to have got in at the Beta stage and can't wait to see how this community develops.
