Snap fold even at 100bb. Having a pocket pair is big liability here.

Flatting doesn't look good. You are basically hoping to hit 2p/trip and hope V stacks off despite a bad turn card. Even 9d doesn't improve much equity against AA

4566ds is way worse. How happy are you with mid/bottom set 250bb deep?

xc then xf with 1.4 SPR is really spewy. Either xf/xr/bc. I probably just pot/call.

Post | Charlie posted in PLO: On 3betting

Is it generally a bad idea to 3b a hand like T986ss against an UTG open assume we are readless (eg Zoom PLO games and we dont have much history on villian)? The combined risk of 4betting, flopping air or flopping wrap against a dominating hand just seem too high. What do we 3b then?

At what spr would we consider c/f this hand? I always thought dry overpairs are not worth gii when spr>1

You need 43% to break even, so shoving is slightly -EV against sets but very +EV against wrap/fd combos. Not to mention you also block top set

Post | Charlie posted in PLO: Calling raises on BTN

Is it generally a bad thing to do? I seldom see anyone suggesting flatting preflop raises on BTN? Don't we want to play pots on button? I find myself losing a lot when I flat speculative hands on the BTN, like 9975r, AJ76as or JT86ss, especially against wide openers who cbet every flop.
