Hi sorry for uploading with result. It can be result-oriented.

Anyway my logic is this

Pre:i dont make my SB 88TTss put much money with mw deep. So i just call

Flop:i think lead is fine.(now thinking) but i think x/and see others action is fine too. Pre raiser cbet so big. I thought his range so narrow(almost Q8+) and him and i so deepspr. So i decided x/c

Turn:awkward spot. I thought i can exploitably cheap blocking bet to his qq(his qq will barrel in this turn and size maybe big and if i just c/c he can value-bet river blank)
At the same time i can value or protection to his weaker part than me(456+,q8+,fd+@) that could checkback.
So i donk bet somwhat small

River:could i bluff? Im not sure his QQ will fold to my barrel. And I thought 88 is too good to bluff. And i dont think he have air to bluff so i decided x/fold. His qq can value bet river. But i thought c/shove is a little ambitious eventhough i have TT (i dont know i can. But my turn size weird small to rep TJ so he wouldnt believ and his range have qq+blocker) so i decided my 8set play safe

U guys think?

Hand History | Crayon posted in PLO: 530bb deepstack playing with absolute nut
BN: $590.09
SB: $130.95
BB: $99.50
UTG: $529.70 (Hero)
HJ: $98.50
CO: $248.67
he have looks regular stats but a little overplaying aggressive i think.
several non-showdowns pot, he represents aggression.
and i have a one showdown specific read.
sb vs bb he open in sb JJT7sssd, flop monotone spade flop. bet and get called turn bet/call pot and river call pot with Jhigh flush.
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt A T 5 A
Hero raises to $3.50, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $12, SB folds, BB folds, Hero calls $8.50
flop, i don't need to 3bet about this hand. because this is not premium AA and super-deep now. and i didn't show btn to my 4-bet range with non-AA. so this could kept my range in enough spr spot.
and i can play deceptively when appear A. so i decided to just call
Flop ($25.50) A 9 4 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $15.82, Hero calls $15.82
flop. i don't need to raise here.
i have top set+nut fd and almost safe to straight.
so i did c/c
Turn ($57.14) A 9 4 6 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $51.84, Hero raises to $210.09, BN folds
he snapped almost-pot bet. and i thought over.(i think this is not good timing-tells but i couldn't decide between c/c with c/raise)

when i raise
i represent almost. AA because, this is so rare spot. if he didn't consider me maniac, i have almost AA.(i don't know, he can think a little deceptively)
but i can protect my hand to wrap,OESD something like that, and get value from str draw+fd and lower set.
but highly he will just fold.

when i c/c
when i c/c, i can hide my AA. and he may higly barrel on blank river.(paired,2,J,Q,K)
and if fd hits, he can give me whole stacks with lower flush as initial read(Jhigh flush, bet/call, c/c)
and even though 5,7,8,T hits, i think i can profitably call when he barrel on river.

hmm, in my opinion, this is much more +EV to just x/c and river x/c or x/pot
you guys have other opinions?
Final Pot
Hero wins $158.02

2014 6.1~6.14

hi guys. its GETURCRAYON from runitonce.com

i tried to upload my progress every weeks but i knew it is hard at first try. haha

so maybe i will try to upload mostly 2 weeks. and sometimes for a week. whatever..

i think this is long-term race so it is important to keep upload even though my results were suck.

this is progress (current progress / june goals)

-almost 30,000 hands (30000/80000)

-go to gym 20days (7days / 20days)

these two goals are my main goals. a little behind than pace.

i think i have to be sorry about my hand volumes. i could make it better.

and this is very -ev effort. again, because im now prop-bet with midori. haha

i guess, due to my down-swing, i was a little lose interest about grinding.

but i know 30,000 hands are very small samples, and if i wanna complain about my run(of course, meaningless), it is okay after my pre-decided goals ended.

tomorrow, end my final exam at university, i will get more time to play poker.

so i will try my best to make up my volumes at second half of the june.

and other sub goals

- cash-out only 20% of my rake-back.

it will be fulfilled when i get 100,000 fpp and exchange this to money.

- watching at least 20 poker videos.

hmm.. actually i didn't count it, but maybe i watched almost 8 videos. so (8/20)

- read a poker book:the philosophy of poker

i read this book bit by bit. so now, i read chapter 4. almost 40%? this is somewhat difficult book for me but good books anyway. so i will read this book several times.

- reviewing at least 150 hands with pokerjuice and odds oracle.(5 hands per day)

i didn't lift a finger about this goal. :( maybe until now, i used to PJ only 5hands? so... terrible (5 / 150) haha. i will do my best, rest of my june.

read 90 PLO low stakes post in order of number of hearts (3 post per day)

this is same.. i didn't at all :(  of course, i read RIO hh posts but i didn't read in order of number of hearts. it is a little uncomfortable that mobile can't line up posts in order of number of hearts. but i will do my best, rest of my june.

i will inform good news later. thanks :)

thanks for cheering me nohubris!

June 6, 2014 | 7:13 p.m.

thanks sted :) i will try my best. even though i didn't read perfectly, ''the philosophy of poker' is good book.

June 3, 2014 | 2:57 p.m.

oh, well thanks for reply:)

i agree that is too ambitious. so i decided to put weight on 2 things.

-playing 80,000 hand (almost 180hours)

- go to gym at least 20days

these 2 things are my main goals and i try to fulfill these goals!

and other things.. fine to fail. hehe... a little bit

again thanks for reply. :) i read your thread now

haha... nice charity! i will consider lose a bet for mankind

Post | Crayon posted in Chatter: PLO Goal & challenge to 2/4

hi guys. this is Crayon from runitonce.com :)

today, im gonna write my pg&c.

i hesitate to write this because im not comfortable with english speaking & writing. just i can do reading a little bit.

so excuse me about my poor english :(

despite of my poor english, why i decided to write this post is that it makes me more fun about poker

and telling my goal to others makes me responsible.(im so lazy..)

of course, i wanna communicate with rio members and get some advice about my challenge.

this is my omaha results until now

this is my lifetime omaha results.

so bad :( i could only beat my rake.

i transitioned to PLO when october 2013, starting with PLO zoom 50.

and it is not successful at first. because of my poor skill about PLO(of course)

and i suffered some tilting issue.

in NLHE, i didn't have not that much tilting issue.

but.. PLO made me on tilt more easier :(

everytime, i didn't accept my turn nuts became just mediocre hands on river.

everytime call opponents strong bet on river and said 'he sucked out me'

so i could only beat my rake a little bit.

but now, im a bit better than that time. thanks to midori, im profitable in plo 50 now.(sadly, not crushing) and i made bankroll enough to shot PLO 100 last week. sadly again, it was unsuccessful. haha, but it was exciting. and i will try again and again and again. i strongly believe that i will success in the end unless i became lazy.

so, this is my 2014 poker goals

-blind up to 2/4 with 100 buy-in.

-comeplete my monthly goals.

yeah, so simple. i will have detailed monthly goals. and to achieve them, i will post a progress every week. (maybe or two weeks)

my june goals (~6.31)

- playing 80,000 hand (almost 180hours)

(personally, i really want to achieve this goal. because i prop bet with midori. last month, i failed my volume, so gave 500bucks to him...)

- cash-out only 20% of my rake-back.

- watching at least 20 poker videos.

- read a poker book:the philosophy of poker

- go to gym at least 20days

- reviewing at least 150 hands with pokerjuice and odds oracle.(5 hands per day)

- read 90 PLO low stakes post in order of number of hearts (3 post per day)

hehe, looks greed.. but i will try my best.

please cheer me up. :) i will post my progress next week. thanks for reading guys.

Comment | Crayon commented on is it nitty play?

thanks for reply.

how can i construct my 3betting range as stacks deeper? i have no experience about deepstack.

i wonder this KKds hand is 3bettable. basically, i 3bet this hand

but effective stack is 400bb between hj and me. and i dont wanna play oop 3bet pot with kk49ds in this eff stack.

is your easy 3bet with this hand  considering that?

March 5, 2014 | 6:01 a.m.

Hand History | Crayon posted in PLO: is it nitty play?
BN: $27.99
SB: $25
BB: $98.58 (Hero)
UTG: $25
HJ: $104.10
CO: $22.15
hj is 39/26 3b 6 hand 146. cb 29
i thought this is so small sample but his btn,co steal is so high. so i thought he is not fish. just regular or average player. but i don't have specific read about him.
Preflop ($0.35) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt K K 4 9
UTG folds, HJ raises to $0.75, CO folds, BN folds, SB calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.50
standard call.
Flop ($2.25) Q Q K (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, HJ checks
i don't need to donk here.
i have veryveryvery strong second nut hand. this board couldn't change my strength easily.
and initial raiser can cb in this flop or they can bluff in turn.
anyway, i had plan to donk turn when they check back flop.
Turn ($2.25) Q Q K T (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.20, HJ raises to $4.25, SB folds, Hero raises to $13.50, HJ raises to $30.25, Hero folds
this is so weird spot...
i donk small.. HJ raise it is reasonable if he have boat.
but i have very strong boat even if it is second nut. he can have QQ, but QK,QT,TTcombo is more possible.
i thought just call is miss my value. because im oop.
so i planned to 3b and river one bet more. it is suitable to my hand strength.
but he 4b largely to my 3b... i confused. i don't want to get it in my second nut in almost 45spr.

i thought he couldn't play like this with KQ, even though he have nut blocker. he don't need to bluff. and he can't sure i can fold KK in that spot. so i decided to fold.
i don't know how should i play my kkkqq

i thought other way.. just call in turn and river check raise. but i thought it is no difference with turn raise. and he just check back in river with weaker boat.

is this play so nitty?
please give me advice about that. thanks you
Final Pot
HJ wins $28.01
