@Ben Sulsky @Santaur

I did not get what Ben meant when he said: "...Be careful with the preflop stuff. If calling realizes 62.5% equity, then I'd imagine your game tree will be unstable...(till the end)"

Can you please explain it?
ty so much :)

Hi Teunus, really nice ispirational series.
Around min 25 J7o hand where you made 2x pot: do you have different sizes on this river? I find difficult to put something like best Tx on 2x pot valuerange and I believe we would like to have it on our vbetting.

That's what I'v done and I'm going to do in these days:
-2days off from the game: done
-Hand review with a really good player (some important advice): done and keep doing
-Made some vid to let out little autopilot/frequent/ B- game mistake that destroy winrate: done keep doing
-Seen and rearranged ranges (OOP in 3betted, BTN play and a bit of HU):done
-Write down my feelings at the end and start of any session
-Don't look at the graph
-Buy Candide (thx Zen)

I would like to say thanks these people who are helping me to become a better player and shares their knowledge with me:
THANK YOU Andrea, Matteo and Max.

I also would like to say thanks to this awesome community, that's a step forward than every else. People are kind, smart and clear and I appreciate really much every comment (even the gargamel, I won't fail as the other guys you'v known).

As shortly as possible I'll show my 6bb/100 crushing graph :)

Oct. 22, 2014 | 4:02 a.m.

Hi guys, I would like to share my experience to have some advice and courage to keep working hard.

I play poker professionally since last year. I started from NL50 and the first 4month I had to spend a lot for everything (deposit for the house, lap, screen and every stuff when you moved somewhere) and my winrate wasn't enough high to bring some profit at the end of the month. I'v almost always won, just not enough (.5bb/100, paying 9bb/100 of rake). So in november I decided to level down at NL25. The stuff went well and at the 10 of january I was at NL50 again (150BI). From january to july my game changed drastically cause I took the game more seriously and I arrived easily at NL100 with some shot at NL200.

I decided to spend the summer in Italy with family and friends and I have done some travels in Morocco, france, Spain and Austria.During that time I studied a lot, watched vid, talking with NL200-400 guys and doing a lot of math. I also decided to have an aggro bankroll managment with shot at NL150 and 200, but it went pretty bad and I runned 4bb/100 under the expectation (just 120k hands cause I decided to play just 6x) and riched the stop loss I came down to NL100 and 50 again.

After that I'was winning 6EV bb/100(always paying 9bb/100) in 220k hands and I felt pretty confident with my game and I came back at NL100 stable.

And here we go, this is the month indicted, the one that's undermining my certainties:

Graph is not correct cause I use a tool to let HM working. You have to almost double the losses.

I'm loosing 62BI and 51 in the last 8 days. I'm sad, not confident with my game even if my coach and roommate (who plays NL400) told me I'm playing good (truly, believe me, I'm completely honest).

During this days I worked a lot on my ranges and with crev but everytime I sit on the table everything just go wrong and I'v got the sensation that everyone are just destroying my game.

In the last year I worked a lot on mental stuff and after some month of work I felt my mindset was solid, but right know I feel so sad and weak.

It's just the second month of my short "career" that I loose, and I feel myself lucky  for that(I'm also proud of that cause I spend a lot of hours to improve my game).

I'm not a skilled player, but I work a lot and your advice will help me a lot.

ty everyone, I hope not to be seen as the usual crappy whiner .

Sorry for my english, hope you all can undestand at least something.

Hand History | Marco Mazzitelli posted in NLHE: KTs sqz pot OOP, river bluff
HJ: $31.28
CO: $94.43 (Hero)
BN: $51.97
SB: $32.41
BB: $54.50
UTG: $50
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt T K
UTG raises to $1.50, HJ calls $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, BN raises to $6.50, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, HJ folds, Hero calls $5
Hero plays 25/20/8
BTN sqz 14, a lot from BTN even if UTG is a tight reg.

I decided to flatcall KTs cause the 2 fishes in the hand (MP and SB).
Do you think it has more value to flat or sqz? (UTG fsqz 60, call3bet UTG 65 open 15, MP fish station).

When he sqz I need to defend at least 5/11.75= 0.42 at least the 38% so normally I would defend something like 88-99, all broadway suited that I have (I sqz AQ, not AJs).
Flop ($16.75) 4 A 6 (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN bets $8.37, Hero calls $8.37
I would call MP+ , FD on the flop around 60% of my range. Does it make sense?
Turn ($33.49) J (2 Players)
Hero checks, BN checks
River ($33.49) T (2 Players)
After goes xx t what should I bluff? I arrive here with:
88-99 (12 combos, in reality not all cause sometimes I sqz 99 pre)

KThh (1)
QJhh (1)
QThh (1)
JTh (1)
bluffs

and value:

ATs (2)
AJs (2)
KQhh (1)
JT (1)

37/(74+33)=34% should be bluff so 4 combo of bluff. what are the best?
Final Pot
Hero has T K BN has A Q Hero wins $42.46 , BN wins $104.69

SB: $0 (Hero)
BB: $19
UTG: $130.43
HJ: $113.99
CO: $192.58
BN: $126.25
Hero's SB and has 191bb

I'v played the hand against BTN

Sorry for converter
Preflop ($1.50) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt Q A
Hero folds, Hero folds, Hero raises to $3, Hero folds, Hero raises to $9, Hero raises to $19, Hero calls $12
Oppo is a 20/16/10
cbet 3betted 80/75
4bet range 8- 6.2from BTN
Not too much history vs him.

I think even 5b/f is pretty good as a bluff but I called wich I think is more std.
I think I would call pretty light against this size.
Flop ($44.50) 3 8 K (2 Players)
Hero checks, Hero bets $15, Hero calls $15
I have to defend 76% vs this size and cause I'm arriving with a lot of stuff I think I cannot fold Ax with club.
Turn ($74.50) T (2 Players)
Hero checks, Hero bets $38, Hero folds
Here's my doubt, probably I had to call but my thought was he would not bet in 4betted, deep something that was not nuts or close to.
Final Pot
Hero wins $108.78

Min 16' 41 you c/c with T9dd on T68xss. You said it's a 2 street of value hand. Would't be better to choose flop and turn as streets to bet? Why would you choose turn and river? I would have chosen flop and turn cause it's unlikely that a draw pays when miss. Are you checking cause you don't want to face a x/r?  ty

He could not have much bluff on the river*

Hand History | Marco Mazzitelli posted in NLHE: NL100: AQs vs fish, sqz pot
HJ: 100
CO: 86.50
BN: 254.46
SB: 60.94
BB: 163.29
BTN is an aggro ricreational player that plays often and few tables.
He's a 49/33/15,4
Sqz 17- 20 from BTN
Cbet in 3betted 87/60/30
WSD 32
agg: 38/33/35

CO is a 22/16 pretty passive postflop
Preflop (1.50) (5 Players)
HJ raises to 3, CO calls 3, BN raises to 10, SB folds, BB folds, HJ calls 7, CO folds
What's the best between 4b/c and call?

I'v no idea what's his broking range in that dinamic
Flop (24.50) 9 2 K (2 Players)
HJ checks, BN bets 14, HJ calls 14
I'v to defend 27% so I would always add AQhh on this board to x/c range and I can't see anything different on that texture.
Turn (52.50) 4 (2 Players)
HJ checks, BN bets 26.50, HJ calls 26.50
x/c or x/s?
River (105.50) 8 (2 Players)
HJ bets 49.50, BN folds
donk or x/c?

I know we can always use different lines but vs fish I just thought the best one is always the easiest: defend the proper range vs his bet and try to get value when I hit and he cannot have much bluffs.
Here I thought I could not have much bluffs cause he's not gonna 2nd barrell too often on that 4h. He plays hands like TT checking back and calling river (note, he has done so more than 5 times).

ty all
Final Pot
HJ wins 102.25
