Probably been asked before, but what tabletheme are you using? Love the video btw

April 13, 2015 | 11:02 a.m.

I would love some more micro cash targeted content. Also, I think it would be a good idea to have some 'back to basics' videos on how to play solid ABC-poker at the micro's. Where, for instance, topics like standard opening ranges, c-betting and double barreling are discussed. For a player stuck at the micro's, it sometimes feels like i'm trying to run while I can barely walk when I watch some of the videos.

Thanks!

So what if this was vs a reg? x/f still the best option? A reg's calling range pre is very heavy on AQ/AK and pocketpairs (TT+), so this would also be a x/f right? Or is b/f better to fold out TT & JJ?

March 19, 2015 | 2:14 p.m.

I know folding is standard here but I can't see villain taking this line with a hand, or is there something wrong with my way of thinking?

March 19, 2015 | 12:03 a.m.

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Yeah, after reading this x/f is def the best option. Going over this hand I realized I tend to hugely overplay decent hands against fish. So def going to fix that.

Blinds: $0.05/$0.10 (6 Players) SB: $10.00
BB: $11.21
UTG: $17.76 (Hero)
MP: $13.23
CO: $11.26
BN: $10.32
SB is playing quite nitty pre (14/11) and fairly aggro postflop (sample = 88 hands)
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is UTG with Q A
Hero raises to $0.30, 3 folds, SB calls $0.25, BB folds
Flop ($0.70) 7 Q 6
SB bets $0.40, Hero calls $0.40
Strange donk, did not know what to make from it
Turn ($1.50) 7 Q 6 3
SB bets $0.80, Hero calls $0.80
River ($3.10) 7 Q 6 3 4
SB checks, Hero bets $2.00, SB raises to $5.50, Hero
Wanted to get value from QJ/QK and possibly QT. The c/r seems really strange. Only 55 is in his range to make a straight (but wouldn't be suprised if he folds that pre). Don't see him call with 76s pre and we block most QdXd combos. So there should be quite a lot of random bluffs in his range here right?

MP: $20.48
CO: $5.68
BN: $11.03
SB: $10.22
BB: $11.89
BN is huge fish playing 70/0. SB is a somewhat tight but decent reg.
Preflop ($0.15) Hero is UTG with A K
Hero raises to $0.30, MP folds, CO calls $0.30, BN calls $0.30, SB raises to $1.60, BB folds, Hero raises to $3.75, CO folds, BN calls $3.45, SB folds
Decided to 4b here because SB's his range is pretty wide and want to avoid playing a multiway pot OOP with AKo
Flop ($9.50) 3 7 Q
Hero bets $8.65 and is all in, BN calls $7.28 and is all in
I had no idead what to do here and what hands are in villian his range. c/f seemed really weak to me against a fish this big and b/f pointless. So decided to shove because of the little equity my overs give if villain called with Qx.
