Hypothetically, if this tourney was played on GG poker, what emoji would you go for after that bust out? Would you hit him with the 'Nice play!', the 'So confusing..', or the more classy 'WTF!' ?

Haha look at that donk with the snap river check. What a tellbox

Would love to see an analysis of the JTs hand vs a more realistic range of QQ+ from mr. Speranza

I apologize for attacking you personally, I am just annoyed that this kind of content makes it do the site, apparantly without anyone doing any kind of quality control. Calling it 'elite content' and letting people pay 100$/month for this is just not done imo. When you get paid to make video's you should be expecting to get some critisism. Maybe if you are under a lot of stress that is not the best time to be making publicly available videos?

Thanks for the free psych evaluation. Best of luck in the future.

Congratulations, you made a video that is worse than Ryan Laplant's videos... Elite stuff!

May 5, 2019 | 8:41 a.m.

Probably a good idea to filter out all rangebet board for IP or at least include IP cbet frequency in the sheet for next time. These boards will become pretty much irrelevant when looking at our probe strategy. Very good video, the kind of quality I expect from an elite coach. Keep it up.

Jan. 21, 2019 | 11:20 a.m.

How can there be "too much cbetting" on T52ddc MP vs BB? You seem to suggest MP should have checks in that spot? Hand starts around 33 minutes.

He is showing the wrong range

April 19, 2018 | 12:09 p.m.

Hey Ben, at the end of the video (starting 42:10) you are actually showing the node that has OOP donkshoving river. I don't think we have seen OOPs response to IPs rivershove, would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of that here if you still have the tree? Would be interesting to see what hands OOP should be heroing here that we get to shove AsJx for value.

In the AKo hand, why did you only give PIO the option to XR 85% pot? In my experience PIO almost never goes this large on paired boards, in the contrary, the preferred sizing is often very small. Its not surprising PIO spits out a polar XR strategy when we force it to use one large sizing.

July 28, 2017 | 1:27 p.m.

Solid video as always. One thing though: I think the QJs at the end is a pretty clear fold, especially when you have a big edge on the table. Might want to run the math on that one.

Looking forward to further parts especially shorthanded and HU!

March 15, 2017 | 1:35 p.m.

Well that was a waste of an hour. I suggest you make yourself more familiar with PIO before making a video on it again.

Betting 1/4 pot OTR with Q9 on 78Q39 is just retarded. Obviously you have very big flaws in your flop/turn strategies when you get to the river with this range. There is a reason PIO wants to bet turn with a variety of hands for a variety of frequencies.

Also 62% BTN range 'seems reasonable', really? I am shoving any two in your face from the big blind there if you open that range on me.

March 9, 2017 | 9:29 a.m.

Thanks, somehow missed it was a 3.5x, makes a lot of sense now.

Jan. 16, 2017 | 7:01 p.m.

I realize the BB's range in this hand is not your own range, just to clear that up. But since we are talking about a good regs range I assume yours is going to be similar.

Jan. 14, 2017 | 12:24 a.m.

Good video. One question regarding BB's range in the second hand which is this range: https://gyazo.com/380873927420838c8739a061a5403274

This seems very tight to me. Do you really think we should fold that much in an ante game IP facing a 3x, even vs a good reg? Assuming you don't 3bet most of the excluded hands at a 100% frequency it seems like you are folding them. Did you assume BB is aware of your SB strategy when coming up with this range?

I would usually defend any suited hand here and also be a bit wider with offsuit hands. I don't have access to PIO at the moment but would be interesting to see what the preflop solver suggests here, I would be surprised if it folds this much.

Really good!

I made my comment to point out that the amount and quality of elite content has been declining, and you are the perfect example. It wasn't personal. I am not going to point out all the obvious mistakes in the stuff you posted above because frankly it's a waste of time and after all I don't get paid to post here. I think you really overestimate your own ability in online MTTs.

Also my 14 y/o sister has a better 3betting range from the SB than the one you came up with. So shout out to her.

Dec. 9, 2016 | 8:15 a.m.

Allright then. First of all you sound like an imbecile trying to teach something to a bunch of monkeys. Just listen to the first 20 second
and you'll know what I mean. It's not my biggest concern but it sure doesn't help when evaluating this video.

Will just point out the biggest mistakes (in my opinion):
4:27 - 98o in the HJ pretty close pre ante? You are absolutely clueless
about pre ante preflop ranges it seems.
4:57 - overlimping KTo 300b+ vs a reg where you admit to having no reason what his limpingrange is.
15:47 - basically everything you say about this hand
24:10 - if you are deeper you bluff here to fold out AA/AK, really? Explain please.
27:46 - 87o 3b vs BTN 2.5x vs a reg. "Great playability", you do know there's suited hands right? How much are you even 3betting
in this spot, like 40-45% of hands? You assume he has a high RFI and high fold to 3b based on nothing.
38:40 - "As a general rule of thumb you should almost always 3bet pocket aces". Some elite stuff right there.
40:15 - You are 3betting low offsuit kings at this stackdepth. Why do you think this is good?

There's a lot more, mostly things you say during the video that makes me think you have no idea what you are talking about.
I also think its a pretty poor format just clicking through the hands and only relying on your own authority rather than using software/stats to back up what you are saying. This is not even close to elite content, to be honest I don't even think this would qualify as essential.

I am sorry to call you out and you probably did your best, but this was just not good enough.

Dec. 8, 2016 | 2:04 p.m.

I don't even know where to start. Point is that this is not what I pay 100$ a month for. If you really want specifics I can make a list but it might hurt your feelings.

Dec. 8, 2016 | 12:01 a.m.

How is this elite content?

Dec. 7, 2016 | 10:32 p.m.

Ben, do you keep someone captive in the attic?

I am pretty sure bvb vs 3bb we need to call 100% in cEV. Was also surprised by a couple of preflop folds where you could shove first in.

Solid vid, but your hud is pretty big which makes it hard to see stacksizes sometimes for an untrained eye, even in 1080p.

Sept. 2, 2015 | 12:22 p.m.

I actually think you articulated your thoughts better than you think. Some gross spots, but a good video!

Jan. 17, 2015 | 10:44 p.m.

Good vid! is 420 your lucky number?

Jan. 17, 2015 | 11:10 a.m.

Around 39:00 you open 66 UTG on 13bb and say you are raise folding. I believe this is a hand that is +EV to shove in cEV, and seems like one of the worst hands to r/f given it blocks none of your opponents valuehands and it has very little postflop value when someone flats you.
