Thanks for the reply. I suspect I have given the impression of a complete novice given the content of my initial post. The posts I have come across in here and other forums have mostly been related to online players who have concrete stats on their opponents (I.e. 3betting stats etc). These players can often assemble a 3betting range against their opponents based on the stats that they already have. Since I'm not an online player and can not have concrete stats on my opponents other than a general feel, I was wondering if there is any way I could apply some of these concepts to live poker i.e. these mathematical concepts. So far all my play has been based on general feel about my opponents and this has been quite successful. However, incorporating these concepts, I felt may improve my game and present a challenge, instead completely relying on fish to make money an avoiding the TAG regs.

Many thanks for your contribution

He'll everyone,

This may sound as a very broad subject, but I would be grateful for all your thoughts and suggestions.

I play in a live 5/10 pound game with lots of fish, however, there r a few TAG regs who have a very solid range e.g. Open with any pair AQ+. My question is how do I exploit these players range in position? We play 300+ BB and I am seen as a TAG player with occasional spazzing. So far my strategy has been to just 3bet if my hand is better than their range and to just avoid any fancy play. But the TAG regs know this and they will not pay me off knowing that I only 3bet pf or on flop with very strong hands.

I guess my question is how do I arrange a pf 3betting range in pos which can exploit these players ranges. And how to proceed post flop?

This may sound a very basic question for a 5/10 game but I suspect that may be due my poor communication.

All your advice would be much appreciated.
