Should i tripple here?

How would you adjust your 4bets/cbets knowing villain 3bets/calls JJ in such spots?

OTT i putted villain on this range:

QQ,99,AQs,JTs,T7s,JTo

It looks like i should fold my middle set :o Equity needed to call 31%, equity vs range 26,5%. I gave him just AQs because many times he might just bluffcatch AQ. If i add AA (not kk for the same reasons as before) i have 38% and still its kinda small EV of my bet/call. What hands would you x/r this flop? Id do that with:

99,8h8s,AQs+,KJs,Q9s,JTs,98s,KJo

Post | HollaBallas posted in NLHE: NL25 cold 4bet spot or fold?

Both players are unknown. I find it easy to get away from this hand, fold and move on. But isn't it a bit to weak? The main reason I fold is cause I really don't know what to do here.

Maybe the best thing is to fold vs unknowns, but when do I start to play these hands? Call vs aggro 3bettor, or 4bet/fold or...?

Whats better in such spots? Call cbet or raise? Now i think call was better because i could rep T/J and in my x/r i dont have TT and JJ.

His agr freq: 31/41/42

Standard fold? How would you play it?

Ok, since BB is kinda fishy player, i should have raised him much more. I didnt like this turn. Maybe i should bet it? What you guys think?

I putted opponent on this turn range:

KK+, 88-77, 22, 96s, 87s, 64s, AcKc, AcQc, 87o, 64o

Is that correct? I saw people calling x/r flop and pushing "save" turn with overpairs.

Vs that range im 55,6% ahead.

What if i had a flush draw and decided to play it this way. What turn cards i should barrel if theres any?

Vs this range:

KK+,88,96s,87s,64s,87o

Im 67,3% ahead.

Haha yes that is insane but in dollars im almost exactly with EV line :D

I know i have to work hard but dont know what it means in poker :D

Post | HollaBallas posted in NLHE: how to become better player?

I am grinding micro stakes on Stars for 1.5 year :) Im tired... i would love to be better player rather than sick grinder. Here are my results:

Attacking nl50 :/

nl100 :P

+ Supernova RB +/- 33%.

These results dont satisfied me. Of course when i began i was playing break even and after few months winrate was finnaly positive. I dont know where to start. My dream is to play regular nl100 this year but how can do it? Can i do it at all?

I am watching videos, trying to think about ranges, good lines etc.

Whats better zoom or regular tables?

Does EV matter? Nl50 40bis under EV, nl25 111bis above EV :D

Could anyone help me?

"How about turning your hand into a bluff by either betting T+R vs his check or shoving this R?"

I feel like nl25 regs are not good at folding. He would force himself to call me down because "all draws missed and hes bluffing a lot" even though he doesnt know that.

Shoving river IDK still think they call too much because "all draws missed" :D

"He's generally representing a middle value range (B-X-B)"

Dont you think the only way to play middle value range on this board is to bet - bet - x/c or x/f depending on a river card? I always play this way my Kx.

July 1, 2014 | 7:45 a.m.

Actually i dont have donk range i guess thats wrong? Dont know how to construct it.

What uncapped and capped range mean? :D

July 1, 2014 | 7:41 a.m.

Yea, you guys are right. What if he would shove over my river bet? Easy call?

I just thought that his river bet was too small so i putted him on 2 pairs, sets or even AK. Still had this hand in thoughts:

Button 22/19 called me down in squeezed spot with 86s

Im so sicked of it! When i have air they call with 3rd pair no kicker, when i have nutty hand they got nuts :(

July 1, 2014 | 7:38 a.m.

Haha, funny one :D Thanks anyway.

:D

called preflop to let BB fish come along. CO is pretty unknown. I flopped really well, no point in x/c 1bb donk. CO has smthg like 33-88, TT-JJ, AK, JT, 9T, 98, Q9-QJ, A3, A8, AT. X/r is the way to go.

I love that turn.

On the river i decided that he had many two pairs/lower sets... But i dont know.

These all hands ive posted are so tragic... I mean i lose almost every bigger pot and im not sure if i play good, bad or got sucked out... (cooler :D)...

"I would actually hate my life if I had JJ/QQ"

so what do you expect after 3bet/calling JJ/QQ (especially with one live hand behind you)? You hope to see non Ace high flop and stack off :D

I cbet this sizing 33% AK to give myself good price to catch outs vs most likely JJ/QQ. I dont want to check AK and see big bet.

Hmmm. What to say? Id never put him on a flush :D Maybe AcXx, two pairs, sets. Overbet seems pretty good. What do you think?

June 30, 2014 | 8:11 p.m.

http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2529895

3b SB vs BTN 9%

Ok. Flop i think standard call. He might cbet all his range.

Turn check/check so... i didnt put him on a king - if he has 2 streets of value i would say its flop and turn when he can rep wider range = draws and stuff.

Then a ten came... All draws missed. I thought if he had a ten he would rather bluffcatch me after checking back the turn i didnt rep many strong hands. Probably no king. So i have a weak pair which im likely to fold facing river bet or a missed draw which im surely fold but i could turn both type of hands into a bluff.

So i called.

What do you think guys?

Post | HollaBallas posted in NLHE: AK 4bet pot

http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2529893'

Ok, on the river i was thinking: BB is pretty regish player, he would 3bet/push TT+, so when he calls he prob has smthg like AJ, AQ, AK, KQ.

Just a cooler or i could play it better?

June 30, 2014 | 8:03 p.m.

"what are your reasons for the flop sizing? i cant believe you ever bluff 5 into 16 multiway. "

The problem is... i never 4bet bluff both of them. Buttons 3bet aint high + 1 cold caller... i dont know. I would rather call and play with position on fishy BB than bluff, methinks.

Flop sizing... I might have AK and i would bet same sizing with this hand. I dont like x/c with AK because many times i saw button betting near to pot prob with everything.

Maybe i watched too many Sulskys videos and im thinking too much about balance and stuff xD With KK is perfecty fine to check/call or check/raise (no much more left) because im not afraid to see a big bet.

June 30, 2014 | 7:59 p.m.

http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2529889

So far CO seems to be a looser reg. His raise 1st is 34%, fold to 3bet 25%. Cbets: 77%, 46%, 51%. Cbet/fold turn 37%.

Vs him i have many 7x in my range such as 87, 76, 97, 75, A7.

On the turn i dont know... he might think i would have raised him with KQ+... His sizing is pretty small and shows no strength.

Would you push the river? Is that a good way to play?

June 30, 2014 | 7:53 p.m.

Thanks. Dont you think that opponent knew it was +ev for me to squeeze there a little more so he might 4bet little looser?

I think that stats are not important in this hand. I also think that my play was standard untill the turn came. What would you do? BB is unknown but would he donk vs 2 players (one of em covered him) with random pair or draw? I didnt feel so.BTN said "i have JJ" and then he folded.

http://www.handconverter.com/hands/2529560

Whats best in this situation? I can surely squeeze it for value as UTG opens 19%, folds to 3bet 28% but at the same time 4bets just 2%. I dont feel good in multiways, especially OOP. But can i really squeeze/fold QQ?

I often have this problem with hands like TT-QQ, AK.
