HJ: $9.72
CO: $10.18
BN: $16.20 (Hero)
SB: $9.90
BB: $7.72
Villian in this hand in 33/23 with 10.3 AF. I have only 127 hands on him, he seems laggy.
Preflop ($0.15) (5 Players)
Hero was dealt J 4 4 J
HJ raises to $0.30, CO folds, Hero calls $0.30, SB folds, BB calls $0.20
Flop ($0.95) 2 9 5 (3 Players)
BB checks, HJ bets $0.70, Hero calls $0.70, BB folds
Turn ($2.35) 2 9 5 J (2 Players)
HJ bets $1.70, Hero calls $1.70
Is it bad to just call here? I was struggling a bit to put him on range of hands and missed the fact there are lot of draws that can catch up on river.
River ($5.75) 2 9 5 J 7 (2 Players)
HJ bets $3.40, Hero raises to $13.50, and is all in, HJ calls $3.62, and is all in
When I raise here, is it worth it? He could be betting missed fd or maybe AAxx, but I assume he would fold to a raise with that.
Final Pot
Hero has J 4 4 J HJ has K 8 8 T HJ wins $18.95

Not sure how good it is to call pre-flop if you're hoping to get 56x or two spades board. Are there any other boards that you would like to see? Considering it's zoom people should be playing lot tighter, so this weighs to fold. Will be interesting what others have to say, i'm only beginner

I advise you not to post the results of hands so you can get better evaluation. Personally, I fold this versus triple barrel unless he's real maniac.

Hey Geo,

good luck with the journey. I have similar goals to you and i am currently playing PLO10. I've posted a thread in General poker section about study group so check it out if you're interested.

@Tom Coldwell rake on PLO10 is around 10BB/100 which is huge

Hello everyone,

I am new here. I would like to form a group of people who are beginners in PLO to help each other move up through stakes. I come from NLHE background. I have only  played few thousands of hands on 5NL and 10NL. Games do not seem tough but maybe I am on good side of varience. I think it's easy to learn and improve in group. If anyone interested and willing to help let me know.
