Maybe developing a leading range in that spot is also not a bad idea. Obv depends on those players tendencies as well. But i feel on that board texture we are not facing a cbet from the opener too often and overcaller is likely passive as well and will likely not stab when checked to a ton with air.

Isn't that a nice spot for a river overbet here? His range is pretty capped on that river, he never has a flush or Ax here imo, the best hand he can have is his very few 7x combos and given the situation he just doesn't have many 7x he is opening with in the first place, even with him being very active. I don't think he is opening Q7o,97o or 75o here etc, mostly just a couple of suited 7x that are connected. On the river you can have plenty of flushes, 7x and even Ax that you could valuebet that way, so bluffing with a hand that has rarely SD value seems like a decent option.

@ 24:30 he bets river w QJ on 442TKxddxd for 40% pot. Don't think i like it, esp with that sizing not sure what he wants to accomplish since his hand has so much SD equity. I realize checking doesn't immediately get him to SD since he is OOP, but still seems like a somewhat poor hand to bet with.
