Is there a way to make the tables smaller? I can still see something. :P

15:00 I like your thought process here and agree with you. What do you think about limping though?
You said earlier you considered limping with KTo from HJ iirc.
You will probably still get it in against every TT and 99.
Or is it too much variance if noone raises?

Great stuff as always, George! And interesting input by Grezi too.
At 34:54 u talk about how you're doing against 3 random clubs - but you accidentally put his starting hand as Qc6cAd. That's why you're doing so great against it...;)

so 732 is a better draw than 8732...:)

Oct. 29, 2016 | 2:02 a.m.

I'm looking forward to that. Just from the tightness and sizings, I would assume his avg BI is not over 10$. :)

EDIT: Just saw the 72o open. Can't wait for part 2 now!

i really like your approach on using software and visualizing ranges, going deep into the theory of the spots and balancing your analysis.

Thanks a lot for your content, great fun and improvement incoming every time !!!

would like to hear which vbets you' d be balancing all these nicely played hands with.
also wondering what you consider to be your vbet:bluff-ratio in these turn c/raises?

greetings from Austria and thanks for the vid !!!

Thank you for finally making a video about this!
Here noone every plays any other variation anymore. :D
At 17:00 the Q up top is not even remotely close. I think it's actually a huge mistake. Ending up with QQ up top is not even something I'm happy about. Against a decent opponent, who knows where to put aces, it's not that rare that you actually lose the next hand. Also you don't have the chance to get into 16 Card Fantasy for one more hand...:)
We actually play it so that if you stay with AA, you get 16 cards over and over again. (Sometimes with a Cap of 3.)
Trips up top gets you 17 cards btw.

at around 15min i actually dont like the check back w J8 on the K5x85 board. turn and river.

i really think that the only hands you get value from there is 66 or 77.
the rest you HAVE (and will) to fold out.. you might want to protect against Ax even, the rest i think you will see a better hand there. majority of his range is 99-QQ, hes got a lot of KT, KJ, KQ which you wont fold out with this transparent play pre. (and obv not w a flop barrel) also, hes floating this flop with close to 100% of his range. would you cbet KQ, AK, KJ, JJ, QQ there ?? there are a lot of hands youd check back on this flop, he knows about this and he knows about his image and he knows that thats a perfect squeezing spot.

would like to hear some input on my thoughts,

The 88 at 14:00, do you have a nutted flatting range there?
I see a lot of players "trapping" AA, KK or QQ even for a big part of their stack in such spots...
btw would you flat AT, AJ etc there?

That "want and/or like" blabla rambling at then end...
that's the reason why I love watching your videos.
You've got the same kind of idiotic brain like me. :D

excellent content, james, thanks for your thoughtful insights of this wonderful and often soo frustrating game :-)

i especially like your thoughts about the A10o hand at 37:00, i see myself calling in this spot fairly often, and now i might not anymore, as it really only makes little sense for jovial to turn his small pairs or suited connectors into bluffs here.

greetings from austria!

would be nice if "betudontbet" could go into more detail about his sizing on river at 14:40 w JJ.

However, my intention would have been to bet way smaller (like 300 or so), esp to give any weaker pair a fairly easy call. I dont see any weaker hand call 810 chips there, or, obv., any better hand fold.

U said that he should find a fold w Q10 etc. there, however, as you checked back flop, i dont ever see villain fold a Q there. Only hands he could have trouble calling with would be KK or AA, which are not really in his range due to flat pre.

He might even call Ax for 300-400 on river i guess. Ofcourse your intention of betting so small is quite obviously a blocking/fishing bet as described above, however, it is then easer for you to fold to a jam and villain is just soo tempted to just call w his weaker hands.

what do you say about that? what important things am i missing in this spot?

At 9:20 you bet 5555 w A8 after your 3bet. Dont you think these sizings/types of raises (5555, 1111, 2222 etc.) are often bluffs, because, subliminally, one chooses these "scary" sizings? Because with a scary hand, one wouldnt want to draw attention to ones own bets...

could be that i have a read on you james :-D

Loved the whole series!
Let haters hate.
Watched most of this on my way to the other end of the country. Played HU about 300BB deep all night with obligatory straddles and many restraddles (by superaggro fishy op)...was slightly out of my comfort zone stakeswise. ;) My subscription easily paid for itself these last couple hours. :P
