What's your range here?

So if I understand it correctly, it's about to be taxfree in the Netherlands soon? Assuming you play within the EU.

You don't have odds to call off here with your actual hand. Betting bigger would price you in but I'm not sure it makes sense to bet big on a turn card that's bad for your range. Which leads me to believe this hand is better played as a check, not planning to check/fold (good to have this hand in your check/not giving up range since I assume you check/fold this turn reasonable often). Having that said, bet/calling big here is EV+ in a vacuum. So it really comes down to what you think about your opponent and his tendencies, as in most HU matches. You have plenty of other hands you can bet/call with here.

You need software for this.

I would have liked this more if you raised UTG instead of isolating a perceived weaker player(?) but I still believe your thinking is spot on, i.e that BU will call all his non AA hands which will work out quite nicely for you. And of course jam his AA hands, in which case I think you gladly should take high variance play and get it in.

I play mainly HU. but trying to learn 6max. In HU you play a lot of those hands. And surely you raise KJT8ds (1-1 on Q9x flop), KT98ds (1-3 on QJx flop) and J976ds (1-2 on T8x flop) if it's folded to you on the button in a 6max game?

Did you exclude the 1-3 (wrap), 1-2 (2 gap) and 1-1 (2gap) on purpose?

Good job! Started looking at this myself, thanks for the inspiration!

I ran this hand and you're crushing here vs 62+ and draws. Even removing some of his weaker draws such as QQcc didn't shift the EV that much. The big shift came when I removed your J. Blocking J+ is huge here. You're still supposed to get in without the J though, but more happily now. Removing your backdoor flush deceased your EV even more but enough to fold once you CB.

An interesting side note. I ran this with him opening 30% from MP, your EV goes up the tighter he opens.

Lifted, did you run any numbers on your statement? I think it's closer than you seem to think. Betting small, folding vs an UTG jam and calling off vs BU might yield a higher EV than 0 for example.

Feels gross but I think it's a fold as well for the exact reason you mention. You rep so strong here 3b the UTG. I'm guessing your 3b % in this spot is very low, assuming the UTG is not a crazy fish (then I don't like the fold either) so you will actually have AA here quite often.

I would always 4b pre. You're guaranteed to push equity and give him the chance to 5b. 1,4 SPR is not bad with these aces.

But if I took this line I would strongly consider raising the flop planning on getting it in. Especially if you think he's viewing you as capable of attacking boards where you have an advantage, at least in terms of 2 pair plus hands. You probably have 3 times as many of those as him here. He can easily not believe you and jam overpairs, straightdraw and pair+gutshot type of hands. As played I'm calling as well even though it might be a leak in these games.

@15:00

Curious what you think the benefits are of calling turn?

You're flipping vs his absolute monsters. Your fold equity is low, but surely not zero. Majority of rivers will play out to your disadvantage since your range is face up, not to mention the disaster if he folds a made hand when you hit. You make around 20 bucks if you jam now and he never folds.

Hi Phil, I liked this format!

@19:30 would you bluff this spot without the Kh?

I really appreciate your videos and how prepared you are. I wish all producers would take it to your level. Too many videos are just storytelling without any depth or insight at all. Thanks Leszek!

I'm wishing for more HU PLO stuff, all stakes and/or theory based videos.
