HI call a donkbet so small and not raise for value?

If he has some draw we are giving him the right odds to pursuit the draw.

On the next street i agree with the call down.

Hi Nolo,

In 1st place i think KJs is profitable to open in 6 max.

what a look in this spot is for information about the SB, but about is lead he's very weak what i suppect that he is a recreational player. if we could have more information about his stats would be easier to understand his range.

With his weak leak he could pretend to have a almost free card to his draw, it could be some Gutter, oesd ou flush draw. We do include here values hands, our equity isn't so great.
But set and 2 pairs would bet so small? or would expect a high frequency of cbet to check/raise form the UTG with K on the flop?

That being said i like you raise on the flop.

About the turn, once more he has a lead about a normal size, the hand the made a str8 is T9s,if do look for combos form Nut flush and some ramdon Kxs.

On the River we need to be right 26%, do we have some worst hand betting there? if so what hand does he bet?

I didn't made the math, but you can try to see the hand you beat and hand you loose to see if you have more than 26% of hands worst that he bet.

But i do hope that someone could give you better view about this play.

Regards,

HI Nice topic and great video.

Assuming that after the player cbet when we do have 5BBs after posting the BB his never folding we will need a hand that at least has 30% equity to Break even.

We also could have a new variable of the size of the cbet of the opponent and have a correlation with the Fold equity.

Having this formula EV = Foldequity * (pote+cbet) + (1-Foldequity)* [(eqWin(pote+AI))- (eqlooseAI)] isolating X to find the Fold equity fo Y has a cbet Size you would find the equity needed to for an Fold equity.

The turn around of this problem is that defending with a call we will be unbalance range once we should shove our Top Range vs X% Open, normally 40% of the Button.

And when we do have until 35% of FE we will need almost any equity to shove profitable.

Increasing the sizes of the stacks this values will rise, in my point of view we do need some assumptions about the opening ranges and the use of the CREV with a deep thought about the ramification on the post flop issues to find the right balance of the range to defend so short.

Here we can find some issues like the tournament life, what kind of boards our hand will flop, How heavily will be the backdoors taking in account our fold equity with the equity that we have. And finally what player are we going to defend against.

Looking forward for the next video,

Great thought on this video Steve, outside the Box has someone told, and if can say playing oop is where we can improve our winrate, being short stack or big stack.

Thanks
