Ok thanks for the toughts well if villain woul'dnt ever value jam AA KK there then it obviously makes the call easier.

I'm curious what kind of bluff he could potentially have with this line other than like AK maybe AQ. I would think weaker parts of range would probably bet flop, might be totally wrong tho!

Thanks for the reply.

Well AKs, AQs, some KQs QJs AJs type. 8x actually not really in our range tbh, sometimes 98s, and I'm not sure i I should have 88 ever here ( coming from an HU background so still unsure of alot of 6max preflop spots).

As played my tought is that river is a call as I think we are still too high in our range to fold. I'm not sure tough if I should call JsJx "before" calling QxQx as it blocks some potential value hands from villain altought not that many.

What do you think about flop ? Fine to mix in some check and some bets with this hand ?

Toughts?

Thanks

UTG raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 10.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, UTG raises to 24 BB, Hero calls 13.5 BB

UTG wins 79.92 BB

What do we do here ? The flop check is weird. Hard to put him on a range other than flushes there ? Maybe AsKx turned into a bluff? Without blocking any spades can we find a fold there? We would also have alot of flushes by the river as well as some straights (8x) altough not very often mp vs ep..

I'm not sure what he could be bluffing with and potentially could shove KK+ I guess.

I'd still call this hand just because it's in the top part of my value range.

Feb. 27, 2018 | 11:47 p.m.

Can't see too many 5x especially when we block some with our hands. TT is pretty reasonable but it's a really small part off his overall range.

Yea interesting for sizings, I tought maybe 75% pot ott and 80-90% pot otr.
Might like slightly over half pot as well.

Feb. 27, 2018 | 4:25 p.m.

Yea well I'm not a fan of the overbets in a vaccum at least ott.

Range would be like QQ+.

What do you think about going 3/4ish ott and 80-90% pot otr? I think the EV would be much better as we get more calls and can fold a bigger part of range when getting jammed on wich were happy about since we still have some bluffs to fold and maybe some bottom part of the value range (haven't done some maths there).

Feb. 27, 2018 | 4:22 p.m.

Hey thanks for the feedback,
Yea interesting that if we choose to overbet 1.5x we get a better spr for a river shove.
In a vaccum I tought smaller sizing could be better to keep his calling range wider and still value bet overpairs with the same sizing. Might be wrong tho might just want to have two different sizings.
Totally agree that we just can't fold like ever got too many bluffs to fold and it's just way too strong. And yea agree as well that not posting the results prob gives better feedbacks!

So whatsup? Got something?

Feb. 26, 2018 | 7:39 p.m.

Lmk if you do! Would be interesting to see

Feb. 26, 2018 | 6:01 p.m.

Thanks for the feedback interesting x/r I think it's probably good at some frequency but not always since I still want to bet this alot while keeping the strong part of my range.
And yea totally agree for sizing I don't really like it on this type of board.

Toughts?

1-Do 200 player ever bluff there ? I feel I'm too high in my range to fold but expect to be beat quite alot.
2-How would you guys play your overpairs in that spot?
3-What about the sizings ott and otr? I kind of feel like it would be better to bet smaller with at a high frenquency on turn and river(70-80% range (sizing)).
4-What if we were 200+bb effective?

Thanks
